The Bandit made quite an effort to deliver the Banquet Beer to the rich guy. Burt Reynolds/Paul Williams. Sally Field's rear end was somehow involved. I lived with my Aunt and Uncle for about a year after I came back from the U.S. Army and my uncle had one Coors, not light, every day at 5:00 pm. And I didn't mind joining him in that routine. Its good beer! 🍺 🦓
Coors Original/Banquet is always a good beer to drink when you're sick of everything else and you simply just want "a beer" that doesn't bloat the gut like Bud would
Growing up in CO this is still one of my go to American Adjunct Lagers. I do not like the boiled rice adjunct of the Bud beers. The Miller High Life is much, much cheaper than MJD and really the same beer except High Life is not cold filtered. This adds an extra premium to the price. And the Miller beers will use the same corn adjuncts as the Coors line Great review again guys just tell it like it is!
Love your videos guys; thank you. If you go back in history (1980's -Smokey and the Bandit days :-) Coors was only sold refrigerated and had a completely different taste (much creamier and hoppy). It was only available out west and in very Demand.. Today it is sold right on the un-refrigerated supermarket floor and is your basic forgetful generic American Lager . It is refreshing but compared to the way it use to taste it is designed for a mass market palette. Does anyone else remember this different taste ?
That's funny because someone who I was chugging Coors Banquet with told me that he thought the rice in the Coors Banquet was sweeter. They are both grains after all. Thanks!
Used to only drink crafts took a break from the heavier stuff and tried coors banquet because I saw the cowboys on yellowstone drinking it and I gotta say its a damn refreshing, very drinkable and not heavy beer. Compared to the craft ipas I always drank these are like water but still get u buzzed. Coors banquet is hands down my fav non craft beer after stella
I watch Yellowstone too and it was cool to see it. I started drinking banquet after an older cousing introduced it to me. Best macro lager hands down. High life is cheaper in my area so that's my goto but banquet is best.
Here is your commenter review: so its got to be my favorite supermarket beer…its a full beer with a lighter beer taste. Its got the “beer” taste but its not over powering. I could easily enjoy a six pack of these. It is my go to “end of week”…”take a load off” 6 pack. I like to build a 6 pack at my foodlion to try new stuff, but I always come back to this one. Its crisp, bubbly, light but not too light . All around a great choice. Plus it has an oldschool stubby bottle so you look like a cool hipster while grilling. 9/10
Coors Banquet is great when you just want a good quality light lager that actually tastes like beer, not like chocolate, smoke, apples, citrus or half an acre of hops. Craft beer is all well and good but sometimes you just want a beer, and an ice cold Coors is hard to beat for that.
1 Coors 2 Pabst 3 Miller 4 Bud 5 Schlitz 6 Jax 7 Pearl 8 Strohs 9 Olympia 10 Lone Star.... My list from the early 1970s when I was 16 to 19 years old and worked for my Dad at Jiffy Cut-Rate Beer and Wine in Dallas Texas at Dolphin Rd exit off of I-30 east R L Thornton Freeway. I'm just sharing cause I think everyone's life is interesting in its own way. The owner would let us drink beer or wine when we stocked the vault from inside the cooler. I'd get drunk sampling different kinds of beer. And of course in those days they didn't really have micro brewing that they were selling at the stores. Man I tell y'all those were great days. Driving a 66 used mustang. If you got pulled over by Dallas cops and all they'd do is give you a good talking-to and make you pour out any beer or wine that was left and tell you to go home. Back when having fun, fighting, f..king, relaxing and just taking it as it comes really was reality !!! Fighting with fists, not guns or knives. F..king without rubbers and partying with friends and even strangers you could trust. Kind of like the old West in a more modern version. Seems like it hung on till the mid 80s then slowly vanished. Or was it just me ?
I grew up in Denver Colorado. Moved to Nevada in my 30's. This was the only "regular" beer my Dad would drink, God rest his soul. Now at 53 young years of age I find that I really like this enough to put it in my regular wheelhouse. I think this is better than Bud and MGD on a personal opinion level. We all enjoy what we like to drink and that is what makes us all love this product called beer, Prost! And thanks for the review.
My favorite beers are in no particular order. Samuel Adams, Coors, Guinness, Any Mexican Beer, and German and Belgian beers. Those are the ones I prefer. But if someone were to give me any beer, I’d accept it.
Coors Banquet is quite enjoyable. This is coming from somebody who mostly drinks Canadian beers. And I can get a 12-pack of the stubby bottles for under $10!
I kinda always felt like the Banquet recipe should've been called "light" and Coors just come up with something a little more heavy for their Banquet ...but I know it's a traditional recipe as well.
I think I first found you guys on UA-cam from your original coors banquet review 😂 this particular beer has been one that I'll get as opposed to one of the more mainstream domestic ones; Budweiser, Miller etc.. The weird thing for me is that this is one beer that if I have more than about 3 it gives me a headache. Not usually the case with most anything else. Usually I try and either stuck with micro/craft beers or possibly larger micro companies like Sam Adams. Here in AK we've got a growing number of local micro companies but I don't think they're a ton distributed to 'the lower 48' maybe you can find the Alaskan beer company? I saw some of that brand when I was briefly living in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. But like Radar said, more often than not I'd never turn one down haha Btw, I just got the Nikon D3300 and it's a great camera. Good upgrade, guys!
+Robert Dederick your not the first person to recommend the Alaskan beer company to us lol, we checked here and a few surrounding states with no luck. I really enjoy the D3300 though there is a bit of a learning curve if you plan to use it for videos, it took us a good 40 videos before we figured out how to take it off auto focus (has a really loud motor) , Don't forget to get tons of battery packs for it as well.
Nice review.I used to drink Budweiser, and anymore I like Coors Banquet better. Hamm's and Pabst Blue Ribbon and Miller High Life are also decent. Have you reviewed Rainier?
Thus is my daily go to beer. It's tasty and refreshing glassed bottle and it's not a expensive beer at all what else can you ask for. It's a win for me
This is just about the only Coors I like, tried the other ones and it didn't work for me. Golden Banquet did something right. And I think most if not all "light beers" don't taste great.
Coors Banquet is way better in my opinion that Coors Light, Banquet is jus so much better, way better tasting, and so crisp, refreshing and smooth, def my top 3 fav
For me, it just kinda watery and it seams its like water and beer together. I also seem to get a headache super fast. And after 3 I'm drunk but it's like a fast drunk then inflammation 🤔🤔🤨
Yes 👍 Coors banquet is it drinkable beer another here in Coors Light tastes like piss water, I have not found a lite beer 🍻 yet that I like I had one can of Bud Light that's all maybe I'll get another can and see the Coors Banquet is my beer

Best product of all time i think its better beer then molson Canadian and Budweiser and labatt Blue in my opinion i just think coors banquet has a real good taste i usally drink the stubbys here in canada 12 stubbys cost $23 really good deal love this beer its been favorite all summer!!!
I just got a 12 pack of the stubby bottles for 10 bucks. Idk what that is in canadian money, but it sounds like ya got robbed lol. But I agree, it's my favorite beer I've had thus far.
The first beer I ever drank so it holds a special place in my liver.
Lol
Good one lol
My dad says that as well
Always the only beer I drink
True story i bought my first pack of theseon my 21st bday. fat 30 pack. The hangover was just very bad. Ahaaha
Cobra Kai is reviving the popularity of Coors Banquet.
That bottle is in so many shots, I feel like Coors is an official sponsor with how much Johnny drinks it, lol
Same! thank you cobra kai and sensei lawrence now ima try this beer
Kyle Long if it on camera that much Coors probably paid them for the sponsor
Lol, you actually think Coors would sponsor us? That's hilarious. It was actually given to me by my grandpa and it probably at least 20 years old.
Special K not you, cobra kai UA-cam series.
for a macro lager Coors Banquet is actually pretty damn good, way better then Budweiser
It's good but they go hand in hand I love them both like a mistress and a wife lol
This is my favorite beer
I tend to enjoy Coors Banquet.
I have puchased my fair share of this.

@@Landiscabinets both are great beers my friend im mexican and i love and buy more buds and coors
That’s because you have good taste Ronald
Coors Banquet is my go-to American Lager and one of my favorite beers in general. The yeast gives it a banana flavor IMO.
agreed 100%
I think high life has more of a banana flavor but its just me.
@@joeyscarseat Thanks for watching. I've never gotten banana flavor from high life.
Definitely has a banana flavor
I've always gotten a nutty flavor but still sweetish. Almost like an almond flavor. Irregardless love myself some coors banquets.
my favorite beer. I've NEVER been hungover from this beer... even after an extended evening - and the price is right.
That's so true so weird just be good stuff
I drank a 12 pack of banquets and it was more of a body hangover. It was weird
This is my daily go to beer and your absolutely right I have never experienced a hangover from this beer 🍺
Love Coors Banquet. But for some reason I don’t care for it much in the stubby bottles. I like the cans a lot better.
The cans are such a good value, too.
Yep cans 24/7 the bottle doesnt do it for me!!
Same. I prefer beer in a can in general but banquet hits the spot in an old school can!
I thought, I was the only one lol.. cans taste better here to me too!
I like the cans too, bottled seems watery for me.
Pro tip: take an orange slice, squeeze it and drop it into a Coors Banquet. I call it a Hillbilly Blue Moon. You’re welcome. 😁
Thanks, will do
Thanks dudee gotta try it

This is one of my three go-to beers. Fair review.
Coors Original/Banquet is always a good beer to drink when you're sick of everything else and you simply just want "a beer" that doesn't bloat the gut like Bud would
I love banquet because it has a good taste and it’s 5% alcohol content so higher than the other beers so more bang for your buck
Came to USA 40 yrs a go. This was the most popular beer before many imports. Found it again 3 yrs a go. I enjoy it again just like or more than before
Johnny Lawrence's Favorite Beer in Cobra Kai
Anyone here from cobra Kai? Thought the beer johnny drank looked familiar
Razor Candies yup, it’s not your typical Budweiser. It gives more of a creamy note
If it's good enough For Johnny Lawrence it's good enough for me! I feel bad as just drinking it!
I drink Coors, except I can't do bottle cap flip after removing it from the bottle.
Yep Cobra Kai, Thanks sensei Lawrence.

After watching Cobra Kai, I decided to try Coors Gold Banquet and I like it! I think it tastes pretty similar to a Budweiser.
they both are very neutral beers, coors is made with corn, while bud is made with rice.
