Great content as always man! Running 8 nodes myself and was lucky enough to join the project relatively early. I bought one plug-and-play initially and for the remaining seven I utilized what I already had, adding more RAM and / or SSDs, etc. Have to say, ETCMC is great. P.S. Your videos helped me a lot with building my own portfolio of assets and miners - keep up the good work!

Nice update. I was looking to do the same with my Fry miner, but mine has only 2 cores on the i3-3220t cpu. Is your Fry miner the same or it has 4 cores? As per etcmc, requires 4 cores and 4 threads.
I’ve got 4 myself, been mining since August. I did ask about using them for multi purpose and didn’t get much of a response. Glad to hear you can do both!

Hi iv got to 100 coin when I press widraw I fill in the form is it normal for balance to show 100 still and the claim button still lit yellow to claim

are the fry miners you have above 4 thread and 4 core? most of my fry miners are 2 core 2 thread..FYI
Wondering... I bought a digital license and installed it on an ESXi server node, so it's just using excess capacity of an already running server. So, it's effectively free electric. Is it possible (or even permissible) to run a second VM on the same server with another instance of the ETCMC software, or is it possible to run multiple instances of ETCMC software under a single OS instance if you have spare compute capacity?

Yes you can buy on a different computer than what you’re installing on. That’s what I did for all of mine

Hi SwanCastle, do you need a new 1TB Hard Disk, PC for each node? What is the switch used for? Do we need a license for every node and also paid for in ETCPOW (so as it goes up, the license gets more expensive?).
Yes you need separate hard drives/pc’s for each node. Switch is so I can switch between pcs on one monitor. 1 license per node. License cost stays at $250, just the number of ETCPOW you need adjusts based on price of the token
On the website the specs say 8Gb RAM or 16 Gb RAM preferred. Is having more RAM or a faster CPU with more cores and threads going to change your return? Meaning, this is more about connectivity vs. raw horsepower like in mining, right?
I have 8GB ram and haven’t seen decreased returns

It’s not a lot, the last day my devices have each been doing about 100MB download and 400MB upload. Plus the Fry software is running on them at the same time, so not sure how much of that is split Fry vs Etc

Just filter your Amazon search by the minimum computer specs and pick one of those. Definitely don’t buy a $1000+ computer lol
Hello, I have a question. I have seen that when you set up your nodes, you put a 1TB SSD to download the complete blockchain. Does it have any benefits? I downloaded the small blockchain and it works well. Thank you for answering me.

How are you connecting multiple nodes on one network? You can only forward the 30303 port to one device on both my routers?

I lost power and my node Pc shut down, etcmc software wouldnt open so I reinstalled it, I lost my balance even registering the node no balance, Anyone know any info about nodes shutting down and balances? Thx 😢
if you reinstalled the software, unfortunately all the coins you had accrued are likely lost
what type of internet speed do you need to run an ETCMC node? would 81 mb/sec be enough?
That should be plenty, it doesn’t use a lot of bandwidth

Great video, one thing that i don't get, on the website they stated that the minimum requirement is 256 GB SSD but you used an HDD, does it works anyway?
Yes it’s worked with my HDD’s so far
Great video but bear in mind if your using HDD there's no official support if your not meeting the minimum 256GB SSD . I run over 20 and it's the best project to be part of since I can remember @@SwanCastleCrypto 👍
About how long does it take for the etcpow to hit your metamask wallet? I did my first withdrawal and I'm at 30 hours without seeing it. Ty.
I have found it usually takes between 24-48 house

I have set up 8 Flux nodes and I have 2 ETCMC operational. I have a question. Do you have several miners set up like Pi Netword and other nodes? Could you tell me which of the ones you have is profitable? These nodes are profitable because of the low energy costs and once installed they do not need a lot of maintenance thank you very much Horacio Mendoza
I don’t have any other nodes currently running on them. If I find one that is profitable I will share when I do
I had one since last month. Started at around $0.30 per ETCPOW. Now its about $1 each. Still waiting on my 2nd ETCMC node to arrive. Dual use the Fry miners? Sounds like a good idea. I will look into that.

Have you gotten any rewards yet on your NFTs? If so, what is it like?
Yes I have, it pays out on the 1st of the month. There is a link to the DAO rewards in the Linktree in the description, which tracks the rewards by wallet. It’s very lucrative at the moment. I have been rolling a lot of my node reward payouts into more NFTs…up to 22 NFTs now, I have a problem lol

Got my first software license up and running on a super cheap laptop. Let's hope we have some legs to this project. What do you know about rewards dropping once a certain amount of nodes being setup occurs?
Rewards drop 20% after 1000 nodes. After that, the DAO will vote for what to do next.

how much do your fry miners currently make that you're now dual mining with ETCPOW? Seems like a good way to go since they sell for $250 still. Congrats on getting on this project before the coin pump, hope it continues for you!
Each miner makes about $1 a day in FRY and $16 a day in ETCPOW. Have you gotten in yet? Hope it continues too!
@@SwanCastleCrypto unfortunately not:( I also just noticed that fry bandwidth miners are "delivering end of Q1 2024", so that's not a great option but might snag a cheap laptop or something for the ETCPOW license. Thoughts on whether or not you actually need the 1tb ssd or if the 256gb is sufficient?
According to their minimum specs, 256GB should be sufficient

in my opinion the new "node"-game. all the new people buying the licence or miner need to buy etcpow to pay them which drives the price.so the real question is: when will the buying stop and who is the poor guy who will never roi :-/

Etcmc nodes crash, they are crap and dont work properly. They also do not send refunds on nodes that were sent back to them. This is a scam and they are thieves!!!!
Don’t buy anymore guys, project is dead. Value of coin has declined significantly
