When I’m behind the wheel of a Mustang GT convertible, every single one of my senses is heightened, better attuned to the world surrounding me. And yet, despite this added awareness, I’m at peace, even when hustling the car down a treacherously tricky road. In many ways, for me, this Mustang is like a therapy dog. Except it’s a horse. If you’re buying a Ford Mustang, do yourself a big favor and get the GT model for its spectacular 435-horsepower, 5.0-liter V8 engine. It doesn’t come cheap, but it transforms the car’s personality and driving dynamics, making a desirable automobile an irresistible one.
Stick with the standard V6, and this car will remind you of the Mustang you rented on that vacation you took before you had kids. The optional turbocharged 4-cylinder engine offers good power, but it whooshes and hisses and snaps and crackles like a teenager’s car. His review is bang on! I just bought one and it's a blast to drive.
It surprises me but I really like this model Ford Mustang. Ford has managed to trim it properly instead of leaving it looking unfinished or boring like the last model Thunderbird and the current Camero that seems to be begging for either chrome or striping or some kind of accent. The Ford Mustang is the worlds best selling sports car and is especially loved in Germany of all places. This is without doubt the best Mustang ever.

I ordered a Triple black 5.0 GT convertible Premium Pack Auto Here in the UK,SADLY WE HAVE TO WAIT UPTO 12 MONTHS WHICH SUCKS :-(.I have a 2005 GT Convertable in RHD rare over here ,just received my Roush Axle Backs and Hood Struts all I need now is the Car .Great Video sadly we don't get anything like the Extras on UK cars and we loose 20+BHP because of the RHD !!

Just wanted to point out that you do NOT have to get the premium package if you get a V8 like he pointed out in the video. My car is a base model GT with performance pack. I do NOT have premium pack. @my_altered_state to follow my build on instagram.

Great review, all you haters who criticise his recommendation of the auto gearbox stop and think, if manuals were faster why are all top sports cars and formula one cars auto?? Each to his own , if everyone had the same taste the world would be pretty boring

"For a mustang" Excuse yourself Sir. This is worth $60k in another badge with this look and power. Am I right? I'm looking at a GT vert over a BMW M4. I'm old enough to remember when that comparison (M3 v. Mustang) was a enough to get you escorted out the auction.

Sorry, but this guy lost me when he claimed that the older crowd should get the GT over the V6 or ecoboost. The older crowd doesn’t limit themselves to a V-8. Why? Because the older crowd buys cars that fit their needs - not going with the herd. What makes me an authority on this? I’m one of the older crowd, who bought an ecoboost. Why would I do this, when the GT is the “Mustang you want”? Because I drive my car 40 miles every day to and from work every day, and enjoy the torque and power WITH the better gas mileage. I don’t drag race my car, but the ecoboost does give me all of the smiles per gallon I need when taking the Mustang through twisties on the weekends. Bottom line: buy the Mustang that best suits you, whether it’s because insurance is cheaper, better mpgs, or you will drive the piss out of your car. Contrary to this reviewer, I’m more than happy with my choice.

eh, slower than the SRT and SS in a straight line, a muted exhaust note that is far quieter than the SS and SRT, the GT track pack is also slower than the V6 1LE camaro around track and in terms of braking... not to mention its interior uses less leather than the SS and SRT. disappointed in the fusion coupe. this is coming from a huge ford fanboy.

2017 mustang now on bad airbag list. Welcome to the company that doesn't give a dam. Ruptured inflators can kill or seriously injure you with shrapnel. This recall began in 2015 for ford and they continued to use bad parts. Now you signed a contract and are basically screwed.
