It does have variable AC charging. You can double click the power button once it’s turned on and charging to bring charging rate down to 500 watts. Also the app will be released shortly.
Blanket statements like that will get someone killed.. eventually.. Its literally running leads inside. Doesn't matter that its shell is metal, as it is running wires inside. to be EMP, it has to be fully enclosed, and with insulation inbetween the shell and the inside.
@@dkasparaitis No. It’s hard to enjoy life when making judgmental and incorrect assumptions about people. FYI, I don’t care about EMP and prepping but thought it was a nice feature to point out since I have one. Solar EMPs are more likely to occur from the sun like in 1859.
What does this Semi-Solid Lithium battery bring to the table? It's not LFP which is the chemistry everyone should be looking for, and if it's not NMC, then what is it? How many charge cycles does it get.
What triggers the charger, I didn't see an ACC trigger wire. Ideal to not pull voltage if it's plugged directly to the battery otherwise you'll end up with a dead battery.
Question; since the AC is more efficient than the DC on the ETaker, is it better for me to run my 12v fridge using the AC plug rather than using the DC car plug? Or is it the fact of having the inverter powered on all the time drains the battery making the DC more efficient?
Since the AC efficiency is over 90% is it better for me to plug in my 12v fridge using the AC outlet rather than the DC car plug outlet since the AC is more efficient than the DC?
Hello, thank you for the review. Have you tried the charger on other generators? Because the fact that it does solar and charging by alternator makes this charger great. Does it cut off the charge when the alternator is off so as not to drain the vehicle's main battery?
I would use this in a grid down situation. The car generator is very interesting, but would only use it in during an emergency. Would it be possible to attach clamps from the generator to the battery? Instructions would be great.
Can it be set, to automatically always turn on the AC outlets whenever the battery has charge, so that if only using solar to charge, if it uses up battery overnight, the next day of sun, will energize the AC outlets, automatically, without any user intervention?
Great review! The price is extremely good too. I was almost sold until i realized that the merge box is almost as expensive as the M2000 (M2000 is $1148, M2000 plus Et200 merge box is $2089), so you are still going to be in the range of ~$3300 for split phase, but for that price, you could get the Anker F3800, which is 6KW instead of 4KW for the ETaker bundle. Still, for stand alone, it weighs only 2 pounds more than the Bluetti AC180, with almost twice the battery capacity!
Yeah, I'd wait for a coupon deal on the bundle because there's no way pricing on that ET200 merge box will selling at nearly the same price as the M2000 itself. And of course, there's no point in buying the ET200 unless you're going to get TWO of the M2000s anyway. Seems like they'll be having to do a bundle deal here at some point to make that a reasonable choice.
Looks nice! If I were shopping right now, I'd be seriously considering this unit. I really like the option for 240v. That's the main feature my Delta 2 Max cannot provide. In addition this unit is smaller and that aluminum case... 😍
Great video, this one is very nice looking, so many solar generators now a day with similar spces its difficult to choose one, but it is great that we have choices to choose from. Mine only has 400w solar input kinda of slow but i could only get this in my country still better than the 200w input i almost bought , 1000 watt input solar is game changer, you can charge it 2 maybe 3 times a day and have 6000wh to use very nice
More details on the battery would be nice. Solid State is not LiFePO4. Many Solid State batteries are dangerous and can explode when punctured, and even known to short and cause fires. I am not sure that this is worth the $1000+ they are asking. LiFePO4 is still the safest way to go. Prices at the moment are low for quality power stations with LiFePO4 batteries. After June 14th, that will change with the new tariffs.
@technologyjunkie01 can you please elaborate on the new tariffs? How much are they and what exactly do they apply to? I had not heard about this. Thanks.
Seems like a great little unit. Checks many boxes for me. Don't care about apps, but would be nice to have a manual switch to have the option to fast charge or slow charge. I mainly do slow charge to prolong battery life especially with the first generation power banks I own. Do you know if this unit does EPS or UPS? What I like about this unit for its size is that it is 10 pounds lighter than my Delta Max 2000, I love the DC output it has of 12V and 12 amps. I love the 5521 port outputs that are capable of running a 12V fridge with the 70+ watt output. I've connected my 12V fridge to one of my power banks and by using the 5521 port I was able to get an additional 3 hours of run time than from the 12V cigarette port, just fyi. I love the fact that you can charge it with solar in one day. What I wish this unit and all units that are coming out is I wish it had dual port for charging. I have a couple of panels that are 160W and a couple that are 220W. would be nice to have the ability to connect 320W total in one port and 440W in the other port to maximize solar input. Since the industry listens to you , you could start recommending this. I would not buy this unit now simply because I don't know anything about this company, I've never heard of them, so I don't know what their customer support would be like. What I would buy would be the fast charger. It will charge any of my power banks on the 3 or 5 hour trips I make all the time. I think EcoFlow shot themselves in the foot when they made their fast charger proprietary only. There is a huge market out there for a fast charger and they missed the boat on this one. I would fire whomever made that decision. As usual sir, you make a great video!!
Great for single phase. A single M2000 is on sale for $1,148. If you bought 2 to try to do the split phase separately it would be $2400. So, I totally don't understand the Combo pack price for Portable Power Station M2000 with Merge Box ET200 (What is going on with the high price???) The cost of the M2000 WITH Merge box kills the utility for split phase. (There has to be a mistake because this pricing is much too high for just ONE M2000 and a Merge Box) Maybe they forgot to list the Combo as having Two M2000's with a Merge Box for ~$2089??? (If it was two M2000 + Merge Box for $2089, then it would be competitive). Great review!

Small ring terminal should fit the cable mounting bolt at the car battery. Basically don't cut off anything until it is verified.
Can the dc charger run other power stations?
Worth noting; this is the only power station on the market that is fully EMP protected.
Blanket statements like that will get someone killed.. eventually.. Its literally running leads inside. Doesn't matter that its shell is metal, as it is running wires inside. to be EMP, it has to be fully enclosed, and with insulation inbetween the shell and the inside.
If you say so. Internally it has a run out spindle - ground out. Same as military EMP protected devices. Also similar to EMP shields.
@@Rick-pl5ey Question for you guys. Is it hard to enjoy life when you are sitting around preparing for an EMP attack?

isn't the etaker fleet 1000 is a 1000w charger not 500?
1000 total but limited to 500 on each input
UPS?
Does anyone know the lifecycle of the battery?

It's a different type of lithium-ion. Apparently more charge cycles than NMC, but lighter than LFP. Allegedly "safer", but refer to Will Prowse.
What triggers the charger, I didn't see an ACC trigger wire. Ideal to not pull voltage if it's plugged directly to the battery otherwise you'll end up with a dead battery.
The app for the ETaker will be available soon. They are working out final app bugs now.
is this just not available yet? cant seem to order it?
Does the car alternator charger work with 24v batterys?
Was not able to find the Etaker fast charger on Amazon, can you give me a link to it?

"The standard NMC", even no-names are going over to LFP now. Emphasise the lightness!
How much does it weight?
How many charge cycles is it rated for?

Looks like a great little machine, however having an app like the Eco flow is really important. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
It is app compatible. They are releasing the app soon as they are working out the final bugs.
cant find the auto fast charger anywhere.
Yeah, I just noticed. :--/ I'm sure it'll be back (it was JUST in stock a couple of days ago).

I just checked and the M2000 + ET200 bundle has an $890 coupon.
compact affordable, one of the best power station maybe
48v solar limit disappointing.
Exactly just like the anker very disappointing indeed.
That’s a nifty little unit!
Bundle unavailable
Thanks for the heads-up. I've pulled the link until they come back in stock on those.

What kind of air conditioner were you using for the test?
It's like the anker with the horrible voltage range of 48v.
What up Doe Mr RWO!?
That beast combo would be perfect for off grid van life in Cali...

In don’t think I want seething that looks like 1960’s aluminum rack systems.. I’ll pass. Cheap junk.
How do you know it's cheap junk if you've never owned one and used one. These products are built to function..not a decorative ornament.
Junk? Looks great. And it’s the only power station on the market which is fully EMP protected. Bad ass.
