Yeah, everything is awesome. This whole concert was one of the best things I watched on the internet. Especially the final part when he played with his brothers John and Chad.
I've been watching him since he was on stage with Travis Barker. suicidal tendencies, movie band gigs too saw. he's been my hero for 20 years.I am so proud of him.
@@georgeramos2176 I was joking. It's a funny expression "The drummer's not too bad either". I'm sarcastically underselling the drummer's abilities. He's obviously very good. Do I need to preface every comment with "The following is a joke"? 😆

@@georgeramos2176I wouldn't say that, there certainly were plenty of standout tracks where he showed his chops within a simple punk structure like in Sinister Rouge, Submission Complete, Who We Are, etc. It would have been goofy if he was going for polyrhythms and Rush-style prog in that band, he played for the song and still put in plenty of his own signature flourishes.
@@Strizz484 yeah, but I was referring to more complex sounds like what he's been doing on Avenged. No doubt there are Bad Religion songs where he showed his versatility, but not like in Avenged.

Excellent drummer. His work on True North was outstanding but whenever I have seen him on drum cams lately he still plays very well but the music is a little boring. He needs to regain that fire he had sitting in for Josh Freese and later with Suicidal Tendencies.
I wasn’t the big fan of this either, but I know what’s he’s capable of his drumming on the stage album for example is phenomenal. Something tells me he just kept this simple probably since it was a tribute to his dad.
Yeah and besides Suicidal he has played with many great and prominent bands as well. Bad Religion, Tenacius D, Infectious Grooves and more recently with Avenged Sevenfold. The guy's "curriculum" is excellent. Definitely one of the best in the world.
I’m so proud he’s apart of avenged sevenfold
Me too
yeah, hes amazing. not trying to suck him off or anything but he truly is a hell of a drummer.
@thetxscene great drummer no doubt
apart??
Apart???
It’s crazy he’s been professionally drumming for 32 years now.
I love the riffs he creates. Is anyone playing metal as precise as he is? He's amazing.

Brooks is good...but "precise as he is" ??? Dude you need to listen to more music cause don't limit yourself to just avenged

@cvblaylock yes Brooks is a better technical drummer than The Rev was, he also has more experience but The Rev was a far superior song writer

Man, I remember being in his dad’s band class with him in 7-8th grade. That kid was so advanced it blew minds at recitals.

Why am I kinda anticipating for him to play The Stage intro in this solo😂
That kit sounds pretty great!
The drummer's not too bad either.

Crazy how I knew this guy as the drummer for Bad Religion
Bad Religion was very limiting for him musically. There he didn't have the opportunity to show all his versatility and skill.
