I'm from Bangladesh. Since this year Bollywood movies got permission to be screened in theaters 😭😭😭 STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT HAPPENED😭😭😭 It started with Pathaan. Before Indian movies were not screened in big screen and we only got to watch Bollywood movies in TV. Being a Huge SRK fan Jawaan was my first Bollywood movie in big screen. TBH BEST EXPERIENCE. LOVED IT. I'm so glad I got to watch SRK in my country in Big Screen😭 The aura, the Screen presence, everything was so satisfying. Also Deepika's cameo made it more special. As I love her as well. jrhitvkjldhkkfs Also glad that it was Jawaan. Proud of Shahrukh Khan 😭 India is lucky to have such a great Superstar. ❤

~ then acting (here you can appreciate srk, but you can't just dump hundreds of other good actors just because srk is the "protagonist" )

And of course I'm glad that its Jawaan not only because of Shahrukh Khan but other reasons as well like the plot, direction, action, vfx, storytelling, message, actors and many more.

Nah bro. Indian movies are some of the most creative movies i've seen in my life. My most favorite film of all time is an Indian film and i'm not even indian!. Hollywood really can learn a lot of things from Indian Cinema.

When I first watched Jawaan in the theatre, I realized that it was an entertaining movie, but when I saw it the second time in Netflix alone, I realized that it is an amazing film with profound messages.
The saddest part about the film is that most of the stories shown in the movie were true. The story about farmers in debt, the story about the Bhopal gas tragedy, the story about arms and ammunition being defaulter during war.
You missed one big part..All the incidents were from Northern india.Farmer suicide from Maharshtra,Medical negligence from UP,Army fraud etc..but didnt show any issues from Southern India..Especially from Tamil Nadu..as if Tamil Nadu or South is all about milk and honey..no problems there..BTW I am not North India and Hindi isnt my mother tongue.
Being indian i'm really allergic to bollywood movies atm especially SRK akshay kumar salman khan and gang.. I'm yet to watch a single bollywood since Dangal for a good reason. & I'm glad this movie is recognized abroad because its unique for abroad audience but here.. its another bullshit salad with mix of dogshit, chickenshit. I really miss 2006-2013 Bollywood where Movie > actors in it. & now people will like anything without criticism. & yeah Political Agenda does happen here too. Atleast you guys in US call it woke here nobody cares to improve or notice we're still yet to grow and take blindfold off.
Jawan is very very entertaining, and SRK's acting was superb. The way he portrayed both the chatacters so differently and with a proper change of voice modulation and intensity is so good. The action sequences & music were absolutely fantastic, and the way the movie is shot deserves a shoutout as well. This is highly recommended.

That's one of the things I liked about the movie: Strong empowered female characters without any touch of wokeness or making men look negative. SRK rules!

@@rahulneogy100 did you even read what I've written exactly? It's not the female character who's ranting about those sufferings, it's the screenplay which portrays them and we actually feel how those sufferings made the character strong and gave them depth... None of this can be seen in She-hulk...

Watching this movie in theatres gave me chills multiple times throughout the movie. Its a rare thing for films these days to excite you to this degree this movie did. 🔥
Jawan is rich with emotions and Indian values. I loved it. The action and cinematography are very well done, editing is crisp, and it all feeds into the emotion
this was my first indian move in a theatre, and my oh my - what an amazing experience.
i just loved all the ladies in the movie, they are soo soo beautiful and the movie itself amazing, like everyone, I enjoyed the lighting of cigar with the fire coming from the metallic screech from the ground. i was literally blown away and what a scene. hollywood must learn how to make movies and scenes.
the songs are jussstt superb, i loved the song zinda banda and chaleya.

Actually, India has multiple film industries. Bollywood is just one of them.
Bollywood = Hindi film industry
Kollywood = Tamil film industry
Tollywood = Telugu film industry and Bengali film industry. (Both are different actually, but got the same name somehow)
Mollywood = Malayalam film industry
Sandalwood = Kannada film industry (why this one got so different ? I don't know yet)
Etc etc etc ....

As well as jawan, there are other movies that are similar in nature and are quite a good watch. Pathaan (also with SRK as the lead role) is really popular. The prequel to that, War, is also quite good.
Respecting the differences between the two is what Hollywood and MCU haven't done in a long time. It's more important for them to degrade, belittle, destroy, and tear down the male characters trying to boost the female counterpart rather than appreciating the fact that without them they wouldn't be on the big screen.

This right here is the problem with the way people talk about it. I wholeheartedly agree that men shouldn't be degraded the way they've degraded women for so long to boost themselves up but to say that they wouldn't be on the big screen without males implying they owe their existence to male characters is genuinely stupid.

I am from Bangladesh and jawan is the first hindi film to have a Same day release here since 1994. I wasn't expecting much going to the theater but boy did it shook me. I can say with confidence that anyone who watches this movie will have a great time. Haven't seen action this great since avengers endgame and Jawan had a riot run in the box office in Bangladesh, deservingly so.

It's not Indian movies that show strong female characters.
It's mostly missing in India as well. But it's present in most of 'SRK' movies as he is known to love & respect all womens out there. It somehow transcends into the screens
yeah, like how South movies with Allu and others always show Female as lesser, just there for him to chase around in 1st half. Audience go crazy in item songs and she gets forgotten for the 'plot' in 2nd half.

Hands down! JAWAN is the best entertaining Indian movie of the last decade.
Also the movie is filled with really serious issues, such as corruption and negligency of our current & previous governments. This movie showed us some of the real events & their consequences related to corruption , larger government scams like voting scams & loan scams etc.
We Indians were in shock in the theatres how a A-list star, a bigger star like SRK can make a movie which is filled with these serious issues. And we are actually proud of SRK, Atlee & the whole team of JAWAN for creating such masterpiece, which was missing from Bollywood.
Great movie, even a greater & tighter slap against corruption.
