Living in Gothenburg Sweden, I'm so proud of this company! They're not only successful, they're producing good quality watches. By the way, for anyone not familiar with Swedish, "Tusenö" means thousand islands. There are quite a few islands off the coast of Gothenburg. Not even close to a fifty, but the myth is "tusenö".
    Bravo Tusenö!!!

Definitely nice to see a watch coming from a different place than the usual suspects, and actually making great stuff. Met a guy from Sweden who was also wearing the brand, must be a fun way to connect your hobby.

Love the case shape, specs, and dimensions of this watch. I almost purchased the silver dial version when it was originally released but the lack of any half links stopped me. Not sure how Tuseno overlooked the fact that a watch with a butterfly clasp needs half links.

Ya the half links are a must for sure really great piece otherwise liked it more than j thought I would. Can’t deny the good parts in person

Looks great! Never heard of the brand, but glad I have now. Getting Aquaterra vibes, but thinner, which is good.

Very much aqua terra like, I never liked the aqua terra line personally at least the way the case wears on my wrist. Would maybe have to spend more time with one to either get over it or find out why I don’t like it 😂

I believe this type of orange is named persimmon, after the fruit.
It's a well designed watch and I particularly like the minute track which you highlighted. It just looks like a minute track from far away, but reveals a lot of visual interest when closer.
Like my fellow commenter below I think the circular date wheel isn't a great choice, though it is not a deal-breaker. I think it's trying to speak to the motif of the outwards circles the dial is composed of, but there are too many harsh lines across the markers and case for it to work. Still, it is a smapll complaint

Agreed lots of fun details, and there we go learned a new color today. I personally don’t mind the date window. It could be better maybe if they made it trapezoidal and replaced the marker but as executed I think the circular doesn’t break in to the design as much as any other shape would

Really interesting watch. I had no idea they really had such high level build quality. Love the dials. Both of them, but the orange looks pretty special. Hey if you can’t afford that red dial Aqua Terra, this is one you could look at. ( for 1 1/0th the price). But… circular date window: Deal Breaker ™️ for me unfortunately. Great review!

They are lovely in person, but the orange does have a little more “glow” or “punch” to it. It is a great aqua terra alternative. I don’t mind the circular date but maybe would’ve been better if they replaced the index with the date window and made it trapezoidal to blend better

Gorgeous ! Hard to choose between the 2 dials 😮‍💨

Agreed! I’d personally go orange but that’s just because I already have a couple greens!

The longitudinal lines cut into the dials are vaguely reminiscent of the Patek Philippe Aquanaut.

It’s too bad they went with a rather boring shade of blue :( which you wouldn’t expect after seeing the orange and green

Very pretty watch, but that pointless, microscopic date... it screams, "We used a generic movement and were too cheap to remove the date". It cheapens the watch. Then again, to my eyes, anything but the big date complication is superfluous, looks cheap, and should be gone.

    • @theknightswatch
      @theknightswatch  10 місяців тому +2

😂 don’t mind the date too much but I guess it is something that someone can focus on. I agree there should be more big dates out there
