I used to do 600 miles but I cannot stay up and drive like I used to. I would rest area hop if I had a sleeper trailer. 73 PS things have changed I'm probably going to go the already built trailer. I found one that is no wood to rot and very lightweight like 400 lbs empty. Under 9000 dollars and I can just put a mattress inside and sleep no galley but has the galley hatch. Easy to get things inside including me. 73
It all depends on how far one plans on pulling it. As long as you keep your speed to around 60 and stay within 100-150 miles radius of home, there's no reason why you shouldn't get several years use out of it. Probably less than 10 years, but that wouldn't be the end of the world. One thing I would definitely change are the small rims and tires, but I wouldn't be afraid to pull it to the campground.

An Idea; I would change out the Axle and for larger wheels for a 5 lug nut set up; that's what I ended up doing for my self. Good luck...
If it wasn't on the harbor freight trailer it would be great. There's plenty for free trailers out there

I personally was planning on painting it with the rubberized rv roof paint. Figured I’d lay a few layers of that on there hope for the best
