A few issues later it is revealed adult gay Jon was an imposter and the real 10 year old Jon who has been held hostage by Brainiac returns.
I was never the biggest Superman fan, I’m not sure why exactly, the only full comic run I own of him is “Superman Unchained” which I actually really liked, had a really cool new villain that I don’t think has ever been used again.

Teen Titans Go is really funny, yes. Here is all you need to know. You stock up trades and hope you have a really good movie. If you do, then you get the "Batman effect" where people come in wanting to read Superman stories. Presumably ones the movie incorporated in the story, or whatever they may have heard is the best of the lot. You don't go and jack up on the monthlies as you really don't get up a kick up in sales from people seeing the movie. Although regs may become interested in the monthlies because of the movies. You do get some young readers stuff, and guard what you order on any specials as the interest may not be there, but again in the collected trades. Everything goes well you do well. If it is mediocre....your sales bump will be brief. If it stinks you will be lucky to get a bump. So you have to guard how you plan for this. Trades being safest way to go. That's the short of it based on all the movies I have handled. WTF20.

As a fan of Superman, I'm just glad DC keeps making content about him instead of throwing in the towel. The best thing about 2025 is that we won't have to wait a billion years before DC makes a logical decision regarding one of its most famous and important characters. I don't want to make any judgments about these stories before they're release and I'm trying to keep an open mind so I can make an informed decision, so I sincerely hope the Summer of Superman is good.

Yeah, the N52 could be fairly adventurous and light-hearted, but when it got dark, but it definitely tested your endurance for how much you could stand watching Superman suffer, but hey, you survived the DCEU, so watching Superman have his secret ID revealed to the entire world by Lois Lane of all people, die by radiation poisoning and then be replaced by a Superman from a parallel timeline shouldn't be a problem. As a fan of Superman, I'm just glad DC keeps making content about him instead of throwing in the towel. The best thing about 2025 is that we won't have to wait a billion years before DC makes a logical decision regarding one of its most famous and important characters.
I don't want to make any judgments about these stories before they're release and I'm trying to keep an open mind so I can make an informed decision, so I sincerely hope the Summer of Superman is good.

@@EvandroACruz A common criticism with the N52 is that it was very dark, at least in regards to Superman, and I'm inclined to agree with that sentiment.
Yeah, the N52 could be fairly adventurous and light-hearted, but when it got dark, but it definitely tested your endurance for how much you could stand watching Superman suffer, but hey, you survived the DCEU, so watching Superman have his secret ID revealed to the entire world by Lois Lane of all people, die by radiation poisoning and then be replaced by a Superman from a parallel timeline shouldn't be a problem. It's not like the entire universe would be rebooted and forget that N52 Superman even existed in the first place.

For a character that was a major draw of the recent Superman trailer, I'm disappointed that DC hasn't come out with at least a special or a one-shot about Krypto.
