      you guys going over the Israel fight had me thinking "yall are in the tank for him" and I get why hes an amazing personality and really good at what he does, He's obviously a better fighter than Alex in a complete sense but that fight was the definition of "he would win 8 outta 10 times" and it being the 2 times you lose.
      Nothing about that fight made me think "yup in a 5th fight Israel would win" the fact that Alex could litterally win that fight just on decision if he honestly decided not to get in close, while still having the knockout option whenever he wants it. Israel was rocked twice, Israel could not check his kicks with either leg and were talking about the 2nd round of what could be a 5rd fight.
      Im Happy Israel won at minimum for his own confidence so he can move on but looking objectively Alex now has a chance to adjust which essentially just means keep your distance and chop him down which he was doing flawlessly and Israel still has no reliable skillset to beat him.
      Again Israel overall is clearly the better fighter, but this is not a fight he can reliably win.

      FYI- the viral video was taken back in February and has become a topic of interest now in April. The video was taken in India, where his holiness has been living in exile and no one questioned his holiness’ intentions because we (Tibetans) are all privy to the Dalai Lama’s playful childlike nature. He is seen giving kisses to Desmund Tutu, does that now make him gay? Another thing to note, the little boy asked his holiness for a hug NOT the other way around and his parents were in the audience. His family did not find this vulgar or sexual in any manner. It is our hyper-sexualized mentality that needs to change. If the little boy’s parents spoke out against it and condemned the act, then all the ruckus and barking can be of meaning. But that did not happen and will not happen because his family as well as the little boy himself are familiar with his holiness’ playful childlike innocent behavior. Lastly, it is normal in our tradition and culture for elders to stick out their tongue and ask to sip/suck their tongue out of humor. I have done that with my grandparents when I was little and NO they did not sexually abuse me.
      His holiness is seen as a spiritual leader and is revered by Tibetans all over the world. His holiness’ sister is regarded by Tibetans as “Amala” which means mother. We have a familial fondness and profound respect for both his holiness and his sister because they have contributed and sacrificed so much for the Tibetan community worldwide. That is why the expression of innocent love, affection and compassion is not tainted in our eyes with this modern hyper-sexualized mentality. His holiness has never had anyone accuse him of ANY misbehavior in his 87 years of being. Let that sink in. 87 years old and not one rumor or allegation against his holiness. Now the one allegation that everyone is appalled by and jumping to conclusion is ON CAMERA.
      His holiness became a monk at the mere age of 5 in Tibet and still to this day remains “a simple monk” as he likes to refer to himself. I don’t blame you all for not understanding the Dalai Lama’s upbringing with the responsibility of a whole country thrown upon him as a small 5 year old. No one can begin to understand or relate to his holiness’ tribulations in life as a simple monk yet a revered spiritual leader. His holiness witnessed Tibetan monks and nuns slaughtered, raped by the communist Chinese and his beloved country/home demolished. Yet amidst these horrific atrocities till date, his holiness always has a warm smile on his face and greets everyone with compassion.

    It is important to note that in Tibetan culture, it is common for grandparents to not only give a pop kiss to small children but also offer them a small candy or piece of food directly from their mouths, mouth to mouth. While this may not be a familiar tradition in all cultures, it is a customary practice in Tibetan culture. Following the exchange, the elder may use the phrase "ok, now eat my tongue" (not "suck," as His Holiness misspoke due to his less proficient English), which is a playful expression indicating the transmission of love and the candy to the child. It is worth noting that the phrase "eating the tongue" is not meant to be taken literally. The Tibetan phrase for this expression is "che le sa," which translates to "I have given you all my love and the candy, so all that's left is to eat my tongue." This custom is more commonly observed in the Amdo region, where His Holiness originates from.
    It is important to acknowledge that forming an opinion without considering the various contextual aspects of any given situation often leads to a significant degree of ignorance in our reasoning. Therefore, it is essential to be honest with ourselves and consider multiple viewpoints before forming an opinion on any topic.
    It's worth noting that the apology was issued, not because he was necessarily wrong, but rather out of consideration for the sentiments of Western audiences.
    The boy and his mother, did not express any complaints about the incident and even shared positive thoughts about the Dalai Lama in a video recorded after the meeting.
    It is important to consider the cultural context and the relationship between Tibet and India when discussing this incident. Tibetans have been living in India since Tibet was invaded by China, and the two countries have a close relationship

    the little boys parents are the one who organized that event with His Holiness , and both parents were sitting next to Dalai Lama through out the event . The little boy wanted to show his love and respect to HIS HOLINESS THE DALAI LAMA so that boy ask if he can get a HUG from him !!! As a Tibetan he hug that boy touched his forehead to the boys forehead , touch each other's nose and gave a kiss , after that he showed his Tongue ( greetings in Tibetan culture ) to the boy. Dalai Lama said " Now I gave you everything , I touched your forehead and touched your nose , gave you a kiss " and then in a funny way ( its Dalai Lama"s nature to tease other people all the time in a fun way ) " now you wanna Suck my tongue " . Dalai Lama is 87 years that DALAI LAMA said in that viral edited video , his basic teaching is " IF YOU CAN"T HELP OTHER , THEN NEVER HARM THEM " so pleas be little UNDERSTANDING TOWARD THIS sensitive issue . Those 3 words " suck my tongue " that DALAI LAMA said in that viral edited video has nomad intentions . His English is not that good and some time his jokes are not properly understood by other people . its like we some time don't understand our grandparents . in Tibetan culture we shoe our love and respect to our love one by kissing , touching forehead , touching nose , greeting by showing our tongue, I kiss my kids and my parents on the lips . my parents kiss their grand kids on the lips . So there is no SEXual desire or intention at all . please STOP THIS accusation . SORRY I try to explain everything but my ENGLISH is not that good , its my 3rd Language same goes to HIS HOLINES .

    As for the incident itself, it is extremely important to consider the contextual framework, cultural nuances, and language barriers involved. “Suck” in the Tibetans language does not have ANY sexual connotation. The phrase “nge che le jip” is a common phrase of tease used towards kids by elders to deter cheeky children from pestering adults. Any Tibetan would understand that when someone says “nge chele jip,” know one actually expects or is expected to actually suck. However, the direct translation in English has a more provocative meaning which is where this misunderstanding comes in. Yes, maybe the Dalai Lama could’ve used a different word, but it is important to acknowledge that English is not even his first or second language. If you watched the full video, you could see that he didn’t even fully understand what the kid was asking and had to told in Tibetan by his assistant on the side. The kid and his family saw no negativity in the interaction during and after the event, (even now) so why make a victim when they don’t feel as they are one? Have you guys even thought about how this amount of publicity might affect the child’s mental health?

    • @Pelkyi

      China was right about Tibet? China was right to commit genocide on millions of Tibetans (and now Uyghurs)? China was right to not give Tibetans basic human rights? How ignorant and insensitive can one person be to even spout such things? You think torture, brutality, and genocide against other human beings are okay? It’s one thing to not understand a situation, but to be upright wrong AND loud about it is another. No matter what happens, you will NEVER EVER hear a Tibetan say “oh the Jews deserved it” or “the Indians deserved it” or “the Palestinians deserved” no matter what the circumstances are because no human being deserves such oppression. I hope that the guy in the blue hat can learn to fact check and formulate his own thoughts before he forms such strong and ignorant opinions. I would rather not listen to the podcast at all than to listen to him keep spouting ignorant and incorrect opinions in the future.

Lama was teaching that little guy how normally Tibetan greet each other in Tibet from ancient times in a polite way to show respect (normally how each nation has its one way of greeting people like some shake hands ,some bow ,some greet with wai as in Thailand or namaste in india and the list goes on ...) Also you can see clearly in the video that Lama felt a deep connection with the little boy where u can see them having a deep silent moment which you feel it only with your love ones❤. So please don't make fun of others jus like that without full information. Show us the same understanding and consideration as well! His Holiness the Dalai Lama is 87 years old, a simple monk to many people around the world but to Tibetans, he is our GOD! He is so untainted by worldly desires and he sees one color in this world, the color of "HUMAN BEING" I sincerely request you to spend a little time to research His Holiness the Dalai Lama, who he is as an individual and his work around the world all his life. I’ve been your supporter for years Andrew. I’m extremely disheartened and disappointed by how insensitively you’ve responded to his holiness the Dalai Lama’s disgusting accusations. I’m all for comedy, but there’s always truth added to the twist with humour. Your and your team’s whole statement on the matter was in extreme poor taste and not even remotely funny. You’ve fallen for china’s another propaganda. I truly hope you educate yourselves on his matter and not mindlessly speak, and correct yourself on the next podcast. You do not understand the gravity of this situation, and how harmful it is to us Tibetans and humanity worldwide. His holiness the Dalai Lama is the purest of all form. He’s dedicated his entire life for others, preaching compassion, kindness, world peace. We would not exist if it wasn’t for his holiness. You have hurt us greatly Andrew Schulz. 💔💔💔💔 I hope atleast @theovon or @bobbyleelive speaks sensibly on this matter. The only two comedians left I greatly admire.
    -
    “Anyone who thought that His Holiness The Dalai Lama is a pe**phile because of the viral video simply has no idea of what they are talking about and his playful character. Always jovial and playful, The Dalai Lama has done this with so many public figures in the past and in a very public and a very humorous and fun poking manner. The same thing happened during this event too, and it was attended by hundreds of people and broadcasted live via all major media stations, not behind close doors. It was the kid himself, who offered to come up and hug the Dalai Lama, not the other way round as some trollers are claiming. Who would do it in public if you have such ill intentional motives? The Dalai Lama often makes use of rudimentary English to communicate, especially with kids. So, The Dalai Lama, an octogenarian who could be the great-grandfather of that kid kisses the child and touches his forehead (a traditional Tibetan form of greeting) in a very playful way, teases the kid to touch his tongue in a absolutely disarming and jolly manner.
    The irony is that the tongue-sucking bit doesn't even take place as all the social media trolls are blaring in madness. Some individuals working for organizations with vested interests against the Dalai Lama, Tibet and Buddhist teachings, have recirculated and retweeted that old video in a cropped manner making people confused and cast grossly iniquitous images in their head. If you had just;
    I: Check where the video re-originated after two months of the actual event taking place.
    2: That the child and the parents of the kid has
    no complaints or issue during, after and now
    regarding this incident.
    3: The origin of where the retweets and comments are coming from.
    4: And the religion to which the name of many
    commentators were associated with. Then it's not that hard to imagine who is masterminding this whole "incident" One would never think that the atheistic ruling agents of the largest population in the world and the one of the largest religion on earth would have so much commonality.
    If you want to know the whole picture you must see the video clip in its entirety, not cropped, cut and edited versions of it. This is a man who has worked all his life for humanity. A man who wakes up at 3am and dedicates his entire day for all sentient beings. A man who has rigorously kept all 253 Vinaya rules for 7 decades. A man who has always stood for peace, non-violence and for the less fortunate. A man who has sparked inspiration in millions and hope for billions. A man who looks at the president of the most powerful nation in the world and the begger on the street with same respect, love and compassion. He is the personification of compassion itself. He is the icon of peace and love for the whole World.
    Long live His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama”

Again, I’m hella happy for him. I jumped up and clapped when it happened too. But everyone (including Izzy) is acting like Izzy’s fully avenged himself in this rivalry and decidedly shut the door on Alex. Just seems strange to me. Alex didn’t do that after beating Izzy the first time (admittedly I think Izzy won that fight), then he KO’s Izzy, THEN he TKO’s him and STILL doesn’t shut the door on him.

    • @Pelkyi
      @Pelkyi Рік тому

      @@KonaTheDragon Tosh.0 is funnier and more offensive he just has better delivery.....if you are going to make an offensive joke you should do it right. Otherwise it just comes across trashy! I get the show notion still not that impressed with the angle he took on this one. I could come up with 3 other jokes right now, Joe Rogans take on it was better!

    Andrew, I used to watch your skits on youtube. I thought you were quite knowledgeable and you maybe. However, you are being straight lazy when it comes to his Holiness. Watch the full video, understand it and then talk about it. Your thoughts on Tibet’s invasion by China was insensitive, cruel and inappropriate. How can you form such harsh opinions based on a short clip which doesnt even show the entire story and without knowing the Tibetan culture. You maybe are trying to gain more views and likes by being ignorant. However, you are also offending millions of people around the world in the process. Please do your part, spend some time researching and collecting facts rather than react on fake clips manipulated by the CCP.
    Maybe on your next podcast, you wanna talk about a million Tibetan kids being forced to live in boarding schools and are forced to learn Chinese by the CCP, to completely wipe out the Tibetan culture and language inside Tibet.

    I love the optimistic take on Izzy being a triple champ, but no way he beats Bones
