CB300F is better in cities, has more torque which is available in lower and mid end while Gixxer 250 has better overall performance with more horse power. Suspension is slightly harder in Gixxer which means slightly less comfortable city ride but comparatively better cornering and handling. Ultimately think of your likely usage, then go with your heart!
Just a question bro, given you had to pick between this and gixxer sf 250, which one would you pick ..which is better in terms of fun, pickup and handling?
I moved from hornet 160 to this.. Headlight is better thn that. only issue was low beam, it was too elevated that high beam was not effecting anything on the road. After adjusting it everything worked fine. Second I needed adjustment in gear paddle. it was high. I will say adding handle bar riser will give you ADV posture like Triumph Tiger
I have consistently found your reviews to be bloody accurate. Had a test ride today of this bike and I really don't liked this bike. Vibrations starts just at 5k rpm and whole body resonates with the same.
I have purchased one on 31/03/2023 with a discount of Rs 64,000/- thereby costing me around 2,05,000/- on road which also includes extended warranty for the engine. I was sceptic about the mileage and performance as the engine was new and that its power was just 24.1 bhp and 25.6 nm of torque against the 293 cc, though its sharp, sculpted racing looks were appealing. However, I found its 4 valve engine powerful enough as its power to weight ratio was awesome with its kerb weight of just 153 kgs. It is a bliss to drive in city as it is nimble and agile with nice ground clearance and a small turning radius and ofcourse it is fully loaded with features like USD fork, dual channel ABS, radial tyres, traction control, slipper clutch, full LED setup with hazard lights, digital display with BT connectivity, gear position indicator, distance to empty, real time mileage, side stand auto cut off, charging port and ofcourse glide though technology (bike moves with out giving acceleration when clutch is released). I joined a couple of my friends with their RE Himalayan on highways and some intermittent villages for a day trip of 300 kms with a few places of halts. It was before the 1 st service and hence kept it between 70 and 80 kmph. I was surprised to get around 43-44 kmpl. Though the suspensions were a bit on a tougher side, I never felt fatigue or a sore arm. Later, I checked in the city and found it to give about 32 kmpl which is too good. I had its first service done after 500 kms at the Bigwing (for premium bikes) and was charged Rs.2,000/- which included the replacement of engine oil, oil filter, O ring and also chain lubrication. Now I am getting around 33-34 kmpl in city and have to take it for long distances to see how much it is going to give now? Just waiting for the summer to end... :) For now I am feeling great with the bike and its service, have to see in the long run...but again Honda is renowned for its engine life and service.
I think you are lying about highway mileage of 43-44. There is no way the mileage will fluctuate by 10-12 kmpl just because you are not using a clutch and are at a constant speed. That too on a 293 cc engine. Check your calculation. The rest of it seems believable.
@@Cla55icG00seppl have reported a tested mileage of around 40 kmpl at cruising speeds of 80-90 kmph. After the first service, since the vibes disappear, one shall begin to cruise at 110 kmph. City mileage is around 32 kmpl

I would say it is a great beginner bike. In your case, coming from a scooter you already have the fundamentals of biking so it's a great upgrade. You'll struggle at first, just like trying everything new but with time You'll master the bike
Which would be a better bike between Honda CB300F and Suzuki Gixxer 250 considering now they both are available at almost similar on-road price range. I am looking for city as well as long ride (600KM+ per day) - 40% city and 60% Highway rides)
The only gripes i had when i took if for a test ride was the stiff suspension. Good for handling, yes, but i guess i wont like it since id be taking it everywhere, not just paved roads. So sad. Its perfect in all other aspects, especially considering the new revised prices. If 140-70-17 rear tire would solve the initial stiffness, might consider it.

Im glad you reviewed this bike this would be a great bike if honda could getvthr pricing right
I moved from hornet 160 to this..
For now I am feeling great with the bike and its service, have to see in the long run...but again Honda is renowned for its engine life and service.
How are the vibrations on higher revs and speed post service?
I think you are lying about highway mileage of 43-44. There is no way the mileage will fluctuate by 10-12 kmpl just because you are not using a clutch and are at a constant speed. That too on a 293 cc engine. Check your calculation. The rest of it seems believable.
@@Cla55icG00seppl have reported a tested mileage of around 40 kmpl at cruising speeds of 80-90 kmph. After the first service, since the vibes disappear, one shall begin to cruise at 110 kmph. City mileage is around 32 kmpl
It was close to the end-limit of 4th gear at 103 km/h. It is the speed at which Suzuki’s 250cc engines (like v-strom 250) exit 3rd gear. Nor it is a heavy cruiser with low-end grunt. Why did Honda make this bike?
Is this Honda 300F Or Gixxer 250 best for city commute... Plz advise

Before buying this, one has to question why has Honda reduced its prices. Kuch to gadbad hai
does it seem slower and less powerful than the gixxer 250 naked?
Vibrations are on par with dukes n dominars or more ??
have you got the answer for this? if yes share it with us
@@arivazhagans1459 I had a word with some other owners and reviewers. Vibrations are not in duke and dominar category. They are quite mild and manageable.

Is there possibilities to launch cb300x by honda ??
Any possibilities of Adventure /Tourer version on lines of Honda 200X?
How are the vibrations when compared to mt15, which can similarly cruise around 90 kmph+ as well. Looking for a Japanese bike for solo touring, confused between mt15 and 300f
Bro mt 15 is too overpriced for a 150 cc segment bike and can not compete with honda
CB 350 RS is costing around 2.6 lacs on road currently. Cb 300f is a best bike for you for solo riding.
Can you give us a review on newer version of Versys 650 in the future.
Bro suggest one brand and bike name I want to buy best bike ...around 2L
Cb300f or cb350rs please suggest??
@iamstrell Hello.... I need your suggestion. I have short listed 2 bikes, Yamaha FZS 25 (250cc, 2023 model) & Honda CB300F. I need bike for my office purpose to&fro around 25kms everyday. Comfortable rider & pillion seats, best mileage & reliability is my top priority. Bit confused between two. Please help me out
Is it possible for a bike to cruise at a speed of 120 kmph on Indian highways?
would you suggest this for a beginner? I have always ridden gearless scooters since traffic, but now want to start on geared ones. Can I start with this one?
I would say it is a great beginner bike. In your case, coming from a scooter you already have the fundamentals of biking so it's a great upgrade. You'll struggle at first, just like trying everything new but with time You'll master the bike
Suzuki gsxr Indian launch any expectations
hey, waiting for interceptor 650 2023 review from you.
Looks way better than it’s 500cc sibling.
Cb 300f stock available in Bangalore?
no that's not okay. the flipped indicator/horn position is a dealbreaker for me. that is why I wont buy this
The sarcasm is strong with this one
You will get used to it within a week. I did.
Please give an update regarding the launch of the cb500x
Which would be a better bike between Honda CB300F and Suzuki Gixxer 250 considering now they both are available at almost similar on-road price range.
I am looking for city as well as long ride (600KM+ per day) - 40% city and 60% Highway rides)

What is the current on-road price of this bike ?

Does anyone have info on bs6 phase 2 launch or refresh of this motorcycle

The only gripes i had when i took if for a test ride was the stiff suspension. Good for handling, yes, but i guess i wont like it since id be taking it everywhere, not just paved roads. So sad. Its perfect in all other aspects, especially considering the new revised prices. If 140-70-17 rear tire would solve the initial stiffness, might consider it.
Never owned a bike before, so just wanted to ask, will the mono shock adjustment won't solve the stiffness issue?
It will solve the problem
How many mileage provide this bike

Now I've a classic 350. Shall I move to this bike. It's is suitable for me. What's your choice or suggestions for me. Because classic 350 has more vibration and no top speed on the bike. kindly help me with that... please
Try sf250 , no vibrations , even in 125kmph , all rounder.
Sf 250 is ~60k wayyy more expensive than CB300f bro.

Sir, Thanks very much for the genuine review, please advise me, I am very much interested in riding and crushing with bikes, I am already having RR310 for highway with top speed ride, for city commute as you it’s not very convenient, so I got FZS V3 and disappointed with its performance, so I am looking to sell and buy another with power and torque for city commute, I had this CB300R in mind as you said non Honda things about engine vibe I am little disappointed, so please suggest is there any other options for this bike for best city commute, thanks in advance 🙏🏻
Good thing is that Torque to Power ratio > 1
We can expect higher mileage than other counterparts (but not with hness 350).
Hornet 2.0 vs cb300f?
Problem is.... In the comment section, most of the people have already bought it, and don't want to buy it. It's too bland, Japanese just don't listen, so we won't listen to them either
The 1st gen hornet was the one that actually looked really good. Truly looked like a muscular streetfighter. Hornet 2.0 and this one are pretentiously sharp looking bullshit.
As a 2017 Hornet CBS owner, this makes me both happy & sad at the same time.
@@arkajeet7547 why sad
Can you please do the Ninja 400 review?
Thanks for the video
Honda CBR 250R and Highness are the best in this 200-350 segment. Others look and feel like normal commuter
Honda should bring CBR300r back with engine of cb300r.
Make a video on cb350rs latest model
It's a great package, but poor service reach and parts availablity will become an ownership headache.
I am having gear shifting issue and the false neutral is just freaking me out. If anyone is facing the same issue do let me know
The design looks like the Hornet, and I do not care even if it's called the Hornet 300.
I like the bike's low grunt torque.
For 2.25 Onroad this is good deal.. But if they come up with CB300X and priced it 1.85 L (Ex-Show) that could be a good bike to purchase
Yeah styling is cliche man, looks like another hornet 🙁

Your comment and your opinion is worthless, this bike is way too better and different than hornet 2.O,it is indeed junior sibling of cb500f
According to looks Upcoming Yamaha MT-03 with 2 cylinder engine is much more better than cb 300f.
Got this for 2.1 lakhs on road. Completed 1500 kms with this beast

What's the point of upgrading from 150 to 300 if it feels like a 150 even on highways 😂 this is on of the worst bikes honda has produced in India and then they think why no one is buying Hondas anymore 🤦♂️
I have FZS 150, with which I can easily cruise at 90 kmph without any vibration. Do you think it is worthy to upgrade to CB300F for daily commute and sometimes on the highway?
