Liberty and freedom are such kind, ideal words when they're written. They bring forth the best intentions and from the highest levels of power to the wheat chewing farmer tilling the earth to feed his kin, for each, the words usually mean the same thing. But the difference between those two frames of mind can be as far apart as anything on this world. This is the problem with idealism; we'll all get behind our side of a wall without knowing that who's on the other side is us too. Watching people invest so much in ideals will become tiring. They will burn themselves out tilling the same ground for little reward mentally or physically. Their spirit has already been shaped into something unrecognizable to the other side. The wall gets higher. And here we are, with the gift of higher intellect and the potential to rise above, see the truth, and either mock both sides or just fly over in orbit, hoping to find kin among the ones up here with a better view. Thanks for being here with me, even though the view from up here can be so sad and pessimistic. Spirit is the highest ground.
