I saw them in 1995 when they opened up for the Grateful Dead and didn't see them again until June 22 for the Shake your money maker tour..... they STILL rock!! What a great show last year. Hopefully they keep going.

This has a very Teletubbies feel to the video. If the teletubbies were a group of old soul rock and roll hippies and were extremely high 24/7 on killer buds. Gotta love TBC. My favorite band of all time. So underrated.

Saw them for the first time last weekend at the Wakarusa Festival in Arkansas. No doubt, one of the best live bands I've ever seen. Just awesome. I actually felt the Holy Spirit moving through me when they ended with this song. The whole show just felt like some kind of antebellum, big-tent Pentecostal revival. Chris just reminds me so much of everything I've ever read about Rasputin. And we really need his healing powers today in this environment of ideological extremes.
I don't have to look like a new hippie to love the Black Crowes. My job makes me have to look like a damn playboy bunny BS. I love their music and mostly their Bsides, if you will. When I go to their shows it's because they make my "Soul Sing" and that is the talent and magic they do. Cheers!
