Your video was insightful, With the current rules on government website, the £50k minimum has been removed from last year when the new rules came into effect, just pointing it out as you still mentioned it in your video, I know when you did yours it was still £50k, so just checking it has actually been removed. Yes it has been removed. However, even though it’s been removed, you still have to prove that you have enough investment for the busy and the endorsement body will have to verify this. They may require more or less than the £50k depending on the business. So, it’s still something to think about. I’ll be making a new video to speak about the differences between the new visa and the old visa.

Amazing insight: I have 2 questions pls... 1. What role did your attorney really play in all of this and would you have been able to still get your endorsement from the International body without the attorney? Is gettign an attorney really necessary? 2. About the £50k cash investment, I read on the website that this fee is no longer a compulsory criteria since last year April. The new update is for you to have up to £1270 in your account for up to 28days you will be eleigible. Since you obtained your visa about this time, pls was this a compulsory criteria by the Innovator International Endorsing body? Thanks
I’m glad you found the video helpful. I answered question 1 in my video. As for question 2, I’m on the old innovator visa so the 50k was mandatory. Yes that rule has changed, however, you’d still need to show the endorsement body that you have the money required to fund your business (whatever that amount is). Having 1270 in your bank account is tied to your living expenses. So, you’d need to prove either way how you’d fund your business which I believe is entirely up to the endorsement body

The Rule of 50K minimum Funds Investment has been removed, the New Rule says that you should have enough funds to SUPPORT YOUR BUSINESS/IDEA. So If my business suggests that I need 10K or 15K or even 5K pounds for my business/idea, I only need to show that to the government.
While this is true for the new innovator founder visa, it is up to the endorsement body to determine this. It’s highly unlikely to state that because your business requires £5k then that’s what you have to show because what innovative business will only require £5k? So, indirectly be ready to show realistic business financials otherwise you may have issues

I really want to apply for this but for a tech product i build myself. Did you have to already have started building your product? Also are you building it alone or do you have to hire people to work on your product, in order to get endorsement?
You don’t need to have the product already built before applying. You can apply with just an idea. That’s what I did during my time. You can book a consultation if you need dedicated advice

You have to find your investors yourself. It’s either you’re using your own money or getting an external investor to evidence the money needed to kickstart the business

Yes you have to show you have that either in your personal bank account or you have a third party’s bank account with a guarantee that the said money will be invested in the business. You’re not able to get a job on the Innovator Visa. However, with the new Innovator Founder Visa, you can get a part time job
