If you are landing in UK with start up visa with 02 yrs visa validity you can can find a job for yourself in 2-3 months or more with a decent company and can get your visa converted under tham as work visa hence you would be eligible to get indefinite work permit post spending 4 yrs in UK. therefore you don't need to switch your start up visa to innovator visa after 2 yrs.

No you can't with a short course visa. You can use the general student visa.

Yes its easily convertible to innovator, have to invest 50,000 pounds after two years of startup, means to covert it to startup, innovator bodies charge 5000 pounds after endorsement and 600 pounds per month for two years startup visa. Ielts general 5.5 bands
