Mark Making with Handmade Art Brushes a Tutorial

Making unique marks in our art is easy with handmade art brushes. Not only are they beautiful but handmade brushes make interesting and organic marks. In this video I show how I use different inks and paint with my feather and other natural brushes to create interesting backgrounds on inexpensive paper. Create a stash of these unique papers and use them in collage or your art journals.

❤ love love the turquoise and black 12 what a wonderful time you have with your handmade brushes I've been. Since I live on a farm and have tons and tons of feathers for my chickens oh, I've been wanting to make feather brushes for a while. I've never really liked mark making, although it's growing on me. "Xs" & dashes just look so juvenile. I admit I'm new to mark making. But I LOVE the organic marks your brushes make!!!
