Thank you for these videos. On your less experienced rider when she was trying to get the horse to yield, she was looking down and into the circle. Does this make a miscommunication to the horse? For example, If I’m asking my horse for a leg yield to the left, should I be looking more straight ahead, or even slightly towards the left? Does my seat go left while I apply my right leg and bring my horses nose right? How do you isolate your head and shoulders from your seat and then also from your legs to encourage a horse to leg yield without just jabbing with a spur and potentially speeding them up or causing anxiety so they stay soft in your hands?
