@@alcivevalkyrie3576 compared to squid game, this series seemed a lot like anime adaptation instead of a netflix series as they're usually are. every single shot felt like it was from anime and every single character is an exaggerated anime character. I'm sorry but compared to other netflix shows like for example "dark" this one seems to be wired for little kids or anime fans. I understand why this show is not as popular as the other ones, 1 season was more than enough for me

The manga needs recognition
For me, this show really underrated like why so little people watching this masterpiece???? I hope after season 2 out, ppl will recognise and acknowledge the show cause it deserves trillions of applause. I also hope they did s2 as awesome as s1. I wish them all the best and wishing them winning the award just like squid game cause they reallyyyyyy deserve it i swear!! the acting, the plot, the action, storyline just top notch and the gore scenes are good too!! Anyway, for those who haven't try watching it yet, i really recommend you to watch cause you'll never regret. Only regret cause you're missing this masterpiece

Edit: I don't simply put the word "masterpiece" in every dramas or movies i watched cause i know how big the word is. I only put that word cause i think the show is underrated and need more recognition ++ the hard work all the staffs and the casts put to make a 10 eps series.. also considering the outcome, i think they deserve that word
@@meowlinthecatperson i watched it, i think the challenges were cool, most of them, the 3rd episode or whatever episode when his friends died is as squid game's 6th episode - well written and shows us the development these characters going through this game... But, I don't really feel attached to those characters, also we don't know nothing about why this actually happened if it's just another evil guys making experiments or something simple like that, that's disappointing. I didn't got into the style of this series with tigers included into these games and how this thing started - people just disappeared? I like more grounded setting in such genre of movies or tv. Also don't remember already but i noticed some silly plot moments throughout the series. So idk if it gets better in season 2, but for now it's entertaining from times to times and gave some good drama in few episodes, but nothing more i'd say

I think as long as they follow the manga, the season 2 will get better and much more adventure! Plus, even if they do make changes on some parts, i hope the result will still be good. But, i respect your opinion and i think your opinion valid too ~ it's not wrong if you don't like that much because there are people who thought the same as you. Netflix better properly promote Alice in Borderland Season 2. I did enjoy Squid Games and All of Us Are Dead, but sometimes feel like they just prefer to promote (or "push") Korean series and movies more. I love and respect all though, just throwing in my feelings here.
Omg your totally on my level, all of those are good, squid game is alr ig but not worth all the hype, but all of us are dead and Alice I’m borderland are my 2 favourite films ever, I couldn’t really choose between them which is better.
@@VaultYT. LOL. I know what you mean. I watched Alice in Borderland and All of Us Are Dead right away because their premises sounded super interesting. Squid Game on the other hand I watched it much later since it didn't seem as interesting as the other 2. I have to say that while I did enjoy Squid Game, a lot of the hype kind of ruined it for me so I still prefer the other 2 a lot more. It's too bad some people that love Squid Game refuse to watch Alice in Borderland for some reason even though I don't even think they're exactly the same...
Squid game was way inferior than this show, do not understand the hype.
@@cryfier I think it's mostly the people who have never seen Alice in Borderland prior to Squid Game (or any other similar game-like series), so to them the premise was super new and unique (at least that was the vibe I got from many who really liked Squid Game).
Korea has become a fad for a lot of Americans so I get why they would promote Korean content over Japanese

I literally had the same dilemma. I was 5 eps in when i realized Arisu is Alice but pronounced in Japanese. Not really familiar with the specifics of Japanese language and pronunciation so sorry in advance hehe

Finally....... Can't wait. Thank u Netflix for ALICE IN BORDERLAND. Such a masterpiece. Better than any game series. Can't help falling love with the mastermind ARISU and all the other characters. Perfect story with the perfect cast. This deserves the world recognition. Thousand times better than squid games. This has to be a world hit like no other before that's all.❤️
Too bad the acting was cringe and unrelatable. It would’ve been 1000x better as an anime.
@@shinikyokai8815 it did have a 3-episode anime but discontinued. Although the acting might not have been consistent throughout, I still found it relatable and moving especially the emotional scenes. To each his own I guess 🤷🏻♀️

When is it out
The development of Kuina as the anchor of friendship in ss2 has become the main motivation for me to finish this season in 2 seats lmaoo. She literally transformed into the centre of the group as that one main friend you cannot leave out in any occasion. Her end scene with Ann really signalled Asahina's growth as an actress tho, since she started out as a model

@Jaime A. That’s a fair opinion. However I think season 3 can be more focused on the joker card. More specifically, the reality that they went back to isn’t the actual one. So maybe soon they realise small things are off and then try to find each other again and figure out a solution.
The show ended at a note where it’s fine if they don’t make more seasons but it’ll be cool if they do.

it's basically almost 1 to 1 with the manga. It ended where it should.
Season 2 was the perfect ending with an open interpretation of the story.
The only thing I would tolerate season 3 is if they do it with a whole different new cast playing the card game and with no concrete explanation to why the world exists.

I don't want to put Squid Game down, but this show deserved the hype that Squid Game got. I have told as many people as I can about Alice in Borderland.

I’m beyond excited and can’t wait… and can I just say that I’m finally happy the over seas Asian media is finally being put to the for front because they more or less typically have the best shows and concepts but so commonly get over looked between squid game and all of us are dead I think it’s safe to say that Netflix learned there lesson on actually realizing that they properly promote these projects because they are what people are looking to see.
there is no ACTUAL diversity to these shows though. Its just one particular race and ethnic group of people lol. "Diversity" just means 'no white people please'.

Why would they? It doesn’t have the mass appeal and marketability that Squid Games has. It’s a niche show created for a niche audience. And that’s perfectly okay.

The only time I watched something and then I had to read the manga! That's how good they did the show.
I can't wait!! I watched it without thinking much of it last year but as soon as the first episode was over I was already amazed by everything. I watched the whole thing in a few days (which i don't usually do) and then convinced my sister to watch with me and watch it again lol we both are looking forward to it now
Alice Borderland is 10000X times better than Squid Game. Again, I cannot say enough, Alice in Borderland should to get nominated for the best "outstanding drama". Who knows, they might be nominated and win 2023 / 2024 SAG awards
