    Dude, you are improving my outlook on men. I pray to meet many like minded individuals like you.
    I was, as a girl, always raised that guys have this hidden agenda and only act nice to get something out of me. It's exhausting to always keep up the front that you don't want to just tell them off and stay kind because you don't want to appear rude. I met many men who were almost imposing themselves onto me without properly introducing themselves or showing any genuine interest in me. They only wanted to gain enough closeness to get intimate. It makes us girls feel like objects and not human.
    I wish more young men could learn from your advice. Be nice, be kind and people will find your way. And if that girl is into bad boys, too bad, let her be if she doesn't respect your kindness. There are enough girls that will respect your kindness.

    • @Zantho98
      @Zantho98 3 роки тому +87

      Im a guy and I was raised to believe that girls will always expect that anything I say is to get them into bed with me. It is has been a really tough time for me because I always thought that I, as a guy, cant compliment a girl or be nice to a girl purely because I want to be nice and because I like helping people.
      We are both victims of this stupid believe about guys and I think that is as much of a problem as guys forcing themselves on girls is.
      Id love to hear your opinion on this and thanks for sharing your own story!

    • @darylchen6701
      @darylchen6701 3 роки тому +21

      @@Zantho98 I'm a human, and I was raised to believe that there are two kinds of people here on earth. Good and bad. This subject isn't limited to only intimate relationships nor it is by gender alone. Because there are manipulative people out there, always excpecting something in return. And there are those who get manipulated, those who just want to help without expectations just like what Hampton said.
      I believe it is just a matter of influence, the cycle will keep on if the younger generations live to what they see right were in fact morally wrong. Boy and Girls everywhere experience injustice. We must accept that the world revolves with us, not it revolving around us.
      As long as you do everything without expectations, you'll do lots of favor for both of yourself and others. So I say just live fully and make the most of it by being unconditional, human life isn't that long, it's relatively short.

    • @Zantho98
      @Zantho98 3 роки тому +9

      @@darylchen6701 I agree that helping people unconditionally is what brings them, the world and yourself the most value.
      What I dont agree with, is that people are inherently good or bad. I believe that everyone wants to live a fullfilled life. Everyone experiences life differently. Some people might find, that doing bad things to others may have certain benefits for themselves. So they start making excuses for themselves or telling themselves that they dont care. I believe that its mostly because they have never experienced the joy of doing good to people or they are blinded by something (money, power, fame, wealth etc.).
      And on the other hand there are people that have experienced the opposite. They learned that helping others and sharing brings a joy that they cant get anywhere else. This joy is what I would call “connection“. Connection is the most basic need aside from food, water, oxygen and shelter. Everyone wants to love and be loved. Some people have just forgotten how to or have never experienced true love, so they mistake other things for it.
      If anything I would even argue, that people are inherently good. I cant imagine that people who do bad things all the time are truly happy.

    • @darylchen6701
      @darylchen6701 3 роки тому +6

      @@Zantho98 We truly are good right after birth, morally. I agree with you, it's why I believe it's a matter of influence. Influence is what will lead to that certain bene- or mal- because whatever connections there is; if an environment is malicious, then most likely a child may grow as a bad person. If an environment is benignant, child may grow as a good and loving person. You're right, connection is the most vulnerable aspect in life especially for children.

    I’m 17, about to be 18, and am a senior in high school. I plan on joining the Air Force ROTC after high school as I work to get my engineering degree in aerospace and I know that I can do everything academic wise but as of right now, my body isn’t in the shape it needs to be to qualify to join. I’ve been wanting to start a good exercise routine for about a year now but could never find the motivation to do and was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to get in because I just couldn’t get my body into the shape it needs to be until I started watching your videos and they’ve given me a lot of inspiration. A while ago I decided to ask my girlfriend if she’d like to start jogging with me on certain days of the week and so we did and we like to jog at least twice a week together but sometimes I’ll just take my dog and it’ll just be us two. I’ve also started to do more calisthenics at home whenever I have the time and I feel so much better honestly. Now I just have to learn how to set a good sleep routine and stick to it😅

When I was that age, it was when I stopped trying to get a girl friend and focused on myself, and started getting involved, etc that girls noticed me and a gf practically fell into my lap. "Hey we are in the school musical together, my sister likes you, do you want to go out with her some time (I like you too but won't say it out loud and realize I'm not as attractive)?" "Um sure, I've actually been kinda lonely lately, thanks. I'll ask her tomorrow at rehearsal."

I'm one month in and I've cut out: heavy dairy products, sugary food/drinks, processed goods. Ive added more veggies and things with more mass with less calories (CICO). I stopped using the scale though, id measure myself and it would always make me too obsessive. Leading a healthy life is my goal and having the rocking body is just a secondary benefit.

      As a part of the crew I’m telling you that you can. Listen to the things mentioned in this video, both parts, and take them to heart. I’m not saying you’ll get a girlfriend out of it, but you’ll likely enjoy life more while also being somebody who is more likely to attract people to you, like Hampton said. Also, in my personal experience, if you’re trying to get a girlfriend you’ll be less likely to do so, and even if you do it’s likely that the relationship won’t be the best fit. Focus on being a good friend and a good person. Try to enjoy life and bring light to the lives around you. That is when you find the best things in life, be that a girlfriend, a job, a friend, or any number of things. Oh my god I just realized I parroted and paraphrased a good deal of this from the video, but I’ve also seen these things work in my life and I couldn’t agree with our friend Hampton more on his points made above. You CAN get a girlfriend. After all, the ship can always use more crewmates

In 2022 May I saw one of your short video that you explain "one can start with easy push ups before hard ones". I'm 27 years old male and I started to feel pain in my back so I decided to begin exercise every morning. I started with push ups and add other moves on my list everyday. 50 days have passed and now I feel good and strong right now. At this point I don't care about my muscles I just wanna be fit and strong thats why I still do exercises every day.

    Being kind and giving without expecting anything in return is how most real friendships are formed, so it's not a stretch of the imagination that one could find a girlfriend that way as well. Of course, plenty of people don't do that and have girlfriends, though that is not to say that such relationships will be particularly healthy or lasting ones.
    My biggest challenge has been my limitation in meeting new people due to being stuck indoors. I don't have the freedom to engage with new people in new settings on a daily or weekly basis. So opportunities are reduced to the online medium.

      Thing is, if you're generally unhappy with yourself or your life, a relationship won't help you. You'll get a quick rush of endorphins for the first few months, but then you'll be back to where you were except now you're also trying to maintain a relationship.
      So many people (women too!) fall into this trap. A romantic partner, just like a friend, can provide support, but the real work of finding joy and meaning in your life will always be up to you.
