As a former Manager for a big chain retail clothing store we have the same policy. No recording in stores. Stores are very competitive with marketing in-store and merchandising. Its not about the clothes but how the store sets up the merchandise / signage/ and interior. As a consumer most ppl don't know or see how much money time and goes into that.
Ive had to tell ppl not to record before. Never with a bad attitude but just matter of fact. Some customers don't like to be told NO . no matter what. I alsways would just direct them to customer service 1800.

Wow so much drama over not being able to film in the store lol its actually quite a common policy, and it's their store so if they say no just the camera away instead of being argumentative about it. Both sides sound obnoxious tbh

Seems like you have all been educated to do whats told without questioning Well some people contemplate critical thinking and if they smell BS in the air, they'll ask you for proof of your assertions. I’m not sure why you would become so distraught and want to waste your time making a complaint about a policy that a lot of retail locations have.. which is no cameras/no filming. Just because a store doesn’t have a policy displayed, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Can you imagine how many signs would be plastered around stores if they had to display every policy they had? So silly though. Working in customer service, it’s mostly always people from Ontario and Quebec that put up a fuss just because they can’t get their way ... even if it’s company policy. I guess us Nova Scotians are too nice lol

He was rude to her. Yes he needed to reinforce whatever invisible policy but did he need to have an attitude and be mean about it? Not unless he just works for the money, he is frustrated with a job that unpleases him and the first happy person he encounter is the best outlet to dump all his crap on. I have been on both sides, customer and worker. The customer is always right, as a worker you simply need to understand that , put your feelings aside and make sure the person who's bringing you business leaves satisfied. Unless the customer is try to exercise power over you and this was surely not the case. She simply asked about the policy witch the manager should very well know about! She did well standing up for her self, lots of times I let go and feel compassion for frustrated workers unhappy with their life but at times it is important to address such unprofessional rude behavior. Seems like those frustrated people hate, literally hate to see someone happy and satisfied when clearly we always go through hard times and storms, just some of us focuses on being positive, grateful and smile to the world and others.

If I'm paying for their profit it's not out of my heart that they're going to have to bow the ground I walk on. Look I'm not trying to hate, luv ur channel but seriously store policies just kind of are what they are. Yes it's an awkward situation to be called out for it in public but I'm sure that manager had a lot to do and honestly it sounded like he was just trying to do his job. I know at my job we have some strange policies that I even I don't understand but I understand it could be confusing to the customer. However when the customer then gets mad at me for it is a very frustrating and demeaning experience. It's not that you don't care about the customers feelings but if you don't enforce your companies policies then you can get reported and lose your job. It sounds more like you were retaliating against the manager for calling you out on a small policy that most stores have. Maybe you should look at your own behavior and how it could be changed rather than blaming and hating the manager. Again this isn't meant to hurt I just sympathize with the worker and think it should be spread that workers are humans with feelings too. Not just meant to serve you.

I think you are just taking things way out of hand for no reason. If you can't record you can't record. I've been to korea 4 or 5 times and japan 6 times and 7 too. Many places don't allow pictures or recording. It may not make sense to you but it does to them. You realize your are in a different country, stuff won't make sense but you need to adjust to their terms.
