Ah, the Bohemian clarinet sound! Very unique, clear, pointed tone adding well to Myslivecek's music a Bohemian country music flavor - originally intended for 18th cent. nobility entertainment and festive banquets background music played outside in garden park settings. I actually have a phono. record of this piece from mid 1960's which I listened to when starting to play on clarinet in Prague and it sounds just like this 1988 recording which I enjoy. I am glad the Czechs maintain the "Czech sound" so different from the rest of the world! Thank you HarpsichordA6 for posting!
