I thought that too so I tried a few different tires and it didn’t work. However, I did get a resolution, Dewalt finally replaced the second power station and it’s been working as it should. 🤞

Hi, I couldn't remember how to use the compressor, and I found your video. I did everything you did to prep the device. With the device off, 1) I connected the compressor hose to the tire stem. 2) I pressed the air button, 3) I set the desire air pressure to inflate too. 4) I waited for the device to tell me what it thinks the pressure is currently, then if it was lower than the pressure I wanted, I press the air button and it started inflating stopping at my desire pressure.
My pressure reading from the compressor gave me a 5 plus reading. In other words, I set my desire pressure to 46 psi, and it stopped once it reached that. My car tells me it's now 51 psi.
I see from your video that the compressor reading is 52.8. Try the following, set the desire psi to 55, then wait a bit and hit the air button. Hope it starts for you. And thanks again for reminding me on how to get started. Before I started, I made sure the compressor was charged to 12.9 V. It should not make a difference. Good luck.

Try having the air compressor already running before you hook up to the tire. Getting the compressor up to speed and then putting a load on it will help.

Well, I’ve tried everything and still, nothing. However, I did recently find out that if it was purchased within the last year, it can be sent back to Dewalt at no charge. So I just looked at my receipt and found out that it was purchased 363 days ago. So I quickly contacted the company and got a return label. Let’s see if the new one is any better. Thanks for all of your suggestions and feedback. I appreciate my UA-cam community. 😊

Thanks so much Robert, I guess I have to concede to the fact that this thing is a P.O.S. !!

seems like the valve stem is not opening when you screw the hose on the nipple. try screwing it on tighter and/or get a different adapter.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. However, I did check the pressure with two different styles of tire pressure gauges. Plus the tire on my riding lawnmower was noticeably low, and it wouldn’t inflate that either.
Thanks for the feedback though. I will take any suggestions at this point.

Drop the psi down to 45psi on the Compressor see if that works mins work fine I also find it strange 🤔 your when attached to the tire via the hose is not getting a current tire pressure reading yours is reading zero get thr receipt & take it back and replace for another unit or get your money back . P.s. mines work as intended I haven't tried the jumper cables as of yet .

Understood, and thank you, I was just trying to show how the machine was working, or not working in this case. I have tried it on other tires that are deflated as well.

Open the mechanism and inside the air sleeve it has a 100psi Max sensor disconnect it, it will solve your problem but it will not measure the air you will have to measure it separately with a rubber meter

Funny thing is....I didn't know this great little machine (when it works) could jump start brains which you did with it with your post here. I guess I just needed to witness others struggling with the same issue for me to notice such a obvious issue with mine and I suspect yours as well. Look inside the screw-on air nozzle. You should see a valve stem needle depress-er in there. Not just a hole as is now the case with mine. I will be lookin' on line for replacement ends and will try to find you here if I have any success with that. Hopefully dewalt will see it as beneficial for them to send us all 2 or 3 to have for replacements rather than having to replace, replace, replace etc...the whole unit which is, as you mentioned, pretty handy dandy (when it works).

@@YouRideLikeAGirlGod gave me an opportunity to reach out and help a delightful human being today struggling with the very issue I was havin' my "duh" moments with until your post made look at my matter with a little more driven sense of purpose. Life kinda works that way for me and perhaps most others when we're tryin' to do more than just solve our own problems. So...consider yourself a blessing to me and all the others following this thread. Gotta credit ya for resetting my problem solving self and putting me in clearer thinkin' and more productive form. Thank you for this meaningful encounter.

I love that you say “God” some are uncomfortable with that, not me. Thanks for your kind words. I’m so thankful to have found you (although you kinda found me) and to have gotten this message from you. I’m so very blessed and this is a reminder of that. I hope you too have a blessed, day, week, month, year, life. You’re a good soul, that deserves good things. Be well, my friend

@@YouRideLikeAGirl you know when Jesus/God/the Holy Spirit/ Comforter/most Wonderful Counselor/the Alpha/the Omega/Emanuel/Creator etc....( just a few of my personal favorite names for Him) healed 10 lepers and that one delightful and ultra thankful human being (much like yourself) went way out of his convenient way and the flow of whatever else was goin' on in his life (like the other 9 not so thankful self-centered dudes had goin' on) to very purposefully/intentionally express his thankfulness to the point where I can just imagine him almost doin' so to a fault tryin' to make up for the disappointment the other 9 presented. In my opinion friend since the beginning many times over now what 's missing the most in our lives here is thankfulness, Christ-like love and problem solvers. It hasn't taken me long to see you registering very high in all 3. I love serving thankful hearted problem solvers who are quick to acknowledge the god who is God for/in every good thing. I'm very thankful for this iron sharpening iron time. Genuine and meaningful. Biggly!!! Be well bold and strong friend.

Try a different manuel air pressure gauge to double check your problem. These air pressure gauges are very cheaply made and you will never get two reading the same. Just saying to start there and confirm the real air pressure in the tire. Then move on to the Dewalt inflator for diagnoses. PROCESS OF ILLIMINATION!! And this is very cheap to confirm the correct tire pressure. Just thinking out loud.......from experience. Good luck. Montana Rick.

I have the exact same problem. I'll contact Baccus global and have them send me a return label and go through that process.... Sad that a thing that is supposed to get you out of jams isn't reliable enough to stay out of it's own way. :(

I have the same same one, I lost the charger, I bought one separately, I mean the plug fits the connector, BUT, even if I leave it charging for long time for few hours, it ll only go to 2-3 bars and never fully charge, so you think the charger my be the problem.?

    • @YouRideLikeAGirl
      @YouRideLikeAGirl  Рік тому

Thank you for that suggestion. That is possible, however, I took the first one back and the second one is doing the same thing and I’ve used two differant chargers. 🤔

I have the same issue..at first it would work fine but it doesn't work great on flat tires..it overheated and turned off... definitely not good for my trucks in SW Florida Amazon Logistics.. I've tried different scenarios and no luck.. but i have a back up one that doesn't do that..if you get a chance to buy the small light weight one that comes with the chargeable battery... worth the money and no hassle airing up quickly without cutting out..i air up Amazon vans all day long and keep 2 batteries and been working ever since
