We are off out on our local roads of Essex, but this time its for a great cause... Action Medical Research put on a great event, where you can take on 1 of 3 different road courses and there was also a gravel option too... we chose the big boy 100 mile road route, which was absolutely fantastic. Can't thank action enough for putting on such a great event, brilliantly run, great feed stops and well sign posted... you really can't ask any more from a sportive.

Loved this event. I hadn't been able to do any decent training so decided to switch from the 100 to the long gravel event which was also an amazing route.

I helped design and set up a sportive in the North Pennines called the Winking Sheep, it was epic but unfortunately didn't survive the first few years so is no more
