I have a GT1 and like you said, they are fucking gorgeous on the inside!!! Almost makes me wish I could just keep her open all the time. I know, not recommended!!! Matamp is an awesome company. They do things right.
1600 pounds is cheap decently priced considering the R.D into the amp and the skills and labour that goes into building it, it's a great amp. Has amazing crunch sounds right and we'll defined similar to a soldano.
What a beauty inside! More amp manufacturers should do the individual bias it is such a good idea. I had a line 6 bogner digital/valve hybrid for a about 6 months or so, where it had a line 6 preamp and a bogner power amp and the the bogner circuit board inside that amp was a work or art and had individual bias adjustment what a dream. I grabbed a mixed bunch of 6L6 not from the same batch and it was a doddle!
I’m having one built starting in the next few days. I agree that when you look at the build quality and the attention to detail it’s hard to see Matamp as anything other than being priced very reasonably for what they are. Seeing the insides is like WOW! Looks like an artist did all that soldering. I’ve seriously never seen an amp that well put together. And the sound is just amazing. Strangely enough I love the clean tone of these, even though I know that’s not what draws most people to the. But I’m seriously floored by that sound. Can’t wait for mine to arrive in about a month. Thanks for posting this!!
@@keithanderson6358 so excited for you man! They are by far the most silent and cleanest sounding amps I’ve plugged into at low drive levels, but also dish out dirty like no others when you’re gain stacking. And yeah, like the man said, considering their quality it’s pretty cheap in comparison to other amps in the same caliber from bigger name brands, not to mention other boutique ones.
Finally get to see in one of these, glorious!
It's beautiful isn't it? I think they are underpriced for the workmanship that's inside!
Awesome to hear this and your appreciation of the workmanship of that amp
Nice guitar CB! Lv ya x

Dear God, it's beautiful.

I used to just rest the tranny’s on some books when I needed tube clearance.
Excuse me but what is that machine you’re using to control the voltage ?
It’s called a variac. You can pick them up on Amazon.
@@RDamps thank you. Amazing video man, I’m set on getting a GT1 myself in the very near future

What tubes and speakers does it have
This or a Diezel Einstein? Which do you like better? Thanks
For my taste the Diezel. But this certainly does something no other amp does.
GT1 or GT120? 🤔
GT1 sir.
@@RDamps trying to decide between the two.
was curious of your opinion?
@@R1GAMBLER Ah sorry, I’m afraid that’s not a question I can answer honestly as I’ve never played a GT120.
@@RDamps thx for showing the GT1 guts, just beautiful craftsmanship & pride 🏴
@@R1GAMBLER , They really are true works of art. I don’t think you could go wrong with either
