I bought your lessons on the website and I keep hearing that you will link your Quizlet sets but I can’t find them linked anywhere. How can I find them?
I’ve been having some severe anxiety when it comes to the state board exam. I haven’t set up my date yet because I wanted to study as much as I can before applying with confidence. I hate taking tests and I just have a fear of the unknown. I’ve been studying day and night and it’s messing with my mental health..I can’t eat or sleep because of this test and idk how to control it. Every time I take a practice test I felt like I knew somewhat of what it’s asking but when I take other practice tests it just send me back to a low score and I just want to be able to pass this exam without fear :( I get so confused with how the questions are worded and I just need a better understanding with everything. I’m trying to ground myself to help with ny anxiety but because it’s in the back of my head I’m still bothered by it.
Same here, silvatheana- I'm right there with you. I have my test scheduled and I keep thinking, "I'm not ready, I need to reschedule it or I'm going to fail." I just feel really inadequate because I apprenticed to get my hours instead of going to school, and I've had to teach myself throughout my entire apprenticeship. What kinds of practice tests have you been taking? Are you taking the ones from PSI? I've found that most websites that claim to be "cosmetology state board practice tests" purposely make their questions *extremely* difficult because they want you to buy their own study guide packets they sell, so I don't think I'd worry so much about the tests you are making lower scores on. And though I obviously can't speak from experience yet, I've found the practice tests straight from PSI to be the most helpful for me (and not so dang difficult!)
@@yellows.joy1133I have purchased the cosmetology app, cpt guru,I have the both the milady exam review book and the book itself. I was part of the 1000 hr program and so we were like the Guinea pigs during the program. We barely touched on theory and they gave a bunch of assignments/hw that I just had to do on my own. We also did mostly lab and getting clients in. So again I feel like it hasn’t helped me understand the material at all and I’m over here struggling to learn everything again…
How is cpr guru I have MILADY app but it’s still feel so lost like where do I began I’ve been license 10 years and now looking to get them in another state as well.
