Awesome set of videos! I knew very little about glitch art and how to achieve it so your collection of thoughts will stay with me forever. Good luck in future studies.
hey thnx! haven't posted a video on here in a while (obviously), but still sharing thoughts in other contexts about all this. i'll be speaking at this event next month if u happen to live in midwest USA efenkay.net/glitch-art-is-dead
@@kasetophono Audacity let’s u import “raw data”, the trick with audio is u need a lot of data to make even a second of sound. So a small text file won’t work
It's been five-six years ever since you shared this video with us. (In internet years, it's probably equal to like 5 decades, jokes or not) Do you think the cautionary info you talked about in the end of your video holds up by now, these recent times? Is there still time and opportunity for such practices to be taken? Or you think we should adapt and create new ways? (I'll be back to this when I'll learn more)
I think the core concepts still apply :) this is a short version of a longer talk I’ve been giving in more recent years: ua-cam.com/video/vOBw09VVTkM/v-deo.html (in the longer versions I tie glitch art into that concept of tactical misuse)

This is such a good series, would love to see more videos go up and would be interesting to hear your thoughts now after a good few years.

i never really considered the sociopolitical lens through which glitch art could be viewed and its interesting
Ok this essay was mindbending. Thank you so much
Do you maybe have any suggestions about programmes that easily read tcxt files as audio? I've been trying with some and I'm failing

@@NickBriz ooooh I see...so would a tiff for example, or bigger size pictures be a better format to play with?
