A far simpler method of running the Live CD i've found, is to run it on VirtualBox. That way, you can just boot straight from the ISO, on your original OS as opposed to burning a CD and restarting to boot from it
that's a great idea! VirtualBox wasn't as popular when i originally released this, but i bet that would work really well :) maybe u could make a video tutorial on how to set that up with the glitchcodectutorial.iso ;)
hi @Kali( for some reason i can't directly reply to ur message ), could u xplain how u burned the disc? did u use Disk Utility as xplained in the tutorial? I've never seen a screen that says "cannon properly be played" b4 >> sidenote: u can also do this w/a USB instead of DVD help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/FromUSBStick
Is there a limitation with the size of the image. A friend of mine took me a picture but I realised that the Picture is too big, and I find the glitchiness to be very small specific lines of pixels. And with low ress pictures noup.
if u edit one line in a small image it has a bigger impact than if u change one line in a large image. the larger the image the more u need to fuck w/the file to see an impact.
so i did all the steps in order and everything was going fine. i got to the part in the ubuntu start up where it comes up and i press 'enter' and then the logo comes on the screen. after the logo, im supposed to enter the username and password, but instead of that coming up, a screen comes up that says it cannot properly be played?? and it gives me a list of commands... still on a white screen with black text. it also ejected my dvd with the iso on it. i'm not sure what happened :( and i feel like im so close to getting it started up. can anybody help me out please? -Kali
