clever move by Orbea to hide the motor under that sleeve, I don't think anyone will notice it. Just scrap the BOSCH sticker and you are good.

@@CamZink of course, you can color your stuff in gold all you want without issues - there is no patent on 'gold', but it still smells a bit like teasing the rival by mimicking the signature stanchion color. And mostly because of the other thing that was a patent issue and forced RS to sell their forks with horrible thumb screws to ventilate the lowers. 😉

I have a feeling the UCI will ban the speed suit, as much as Fox say it isn't a skinsuit, they've clearly snuck their way around the regulations.
I think the Orbea has a gear box at the motor place, I bet. That's a really good idea to take an ebike which is stronger, it could make only one bike for ebike and downhill.

I'm pretty sure orbea is trying to build a modular bike. Battery and motor, e bike. Remova motor and battery then bolt on bottom bracket, regular light Enduro bike.

I haven't been following DH scene for a bit. What is the deal with Specialized bikes? Does Atherton/Robot make bikes for Specialized now? are these just protoype frames for testing...?

Luckily they’re trying to design DH race prototype bikes to go fast and test new ideas, not to be eye candy.
@SnootchieBootchies27 People in MTB are too obsessed with Kinematics and rear suspension designs. Frameworks is doing well enough with a Horst Link and an O-Chain.
Specialized DH Owes as much props to Ohlins as they do to their oddball ugly linkage design that people don't want because it hangs below the BB.
