7th Dragon 3 VFD I cannot sing it's praises enough. The classes and especially the boss fights are so much fun. I one day hope we can get a 7th dragon compilation.

It would be cool to see a compilation.
And yep, it has interesting classes (maybe samurai is the one that appears everywhere 😅 but still nice) and those boss fights, along the music, uuufff simply fantastic.

I have the platinum for Demon Gaze 2, and it was an amazing game! Haven't played Extra yet because it is still very expensive here.

I liked Extra a bit more, because you can create your characters, 2 is also really solid, but it gives you let's say, specific characters, like Peg, cleric/paladin and until you get the first "Diva", there are no real units to change her in between.
But yeh, it is quite expensive XD not sure it will drop in price as there are "limited" copies.

The Mary Skelter games are quite fantastic.
1 and 2 are retellings of each other but done in reverse (aka you get alice first and gretel last in 1, but get gretel first and alice last in 2), also which faction you are in and how some character as or look varries between the games, but both take place in the 'dungeon' and the goal is the same.
Finale takes place outside of the dungeon and is kind of a direct sequel of both 1&2s endings since you get a combination of character's forms on top of new characters that exist in the world. 1 and 2 are more of a standard turn based crawler while finale has you controlling 3 parties are once and can swap between them in the dungeon (but they wont necessarily be in the same battle.
    Standard crawlers, but fun.

Yup, that's is how it works.
They are simple in many mechanics but that story and how it is intertwined between games is what I loved so much.
I mean that is why I had to sneak place a part of nightmares in the edition XD before the brutal post content.

@@gamingodyssey5633 Funnily enough i only ever fully beat the first game (specifically nightmares) on steam since it was the only one on there at the time and unfortunately had to stop in the 'post game' due to the extra dungeon having a memory leak and crashing the game. ;/
Will finish up the other 2 at some point, but backlog be backlogging.

@@XionSteel yup that is exactly what I heard about the Steam versions XD
It is kinda brutal (perhaps the difficulty spikes were a bit tu harsh at some point), but it connects all the points with 2 and finale's beginning.
And yep I completely get you, the backlog is quite the fierce fight. Doing a bit of advertisement, if you want check it, I did a video about beating the backlog XD
Btw thanks a lot for the comments.

Knights in the nightmare looks interesting, kinda like a fire emblem (or disgaea looking at the damage numbers lol) with persona fusions? definitely gonna check the game later. Also what is the name of the game at the bottom left corner at the beginning of the video? The enemy animations remind me of Labyrinth of Refrain 👀
Demon Gaze has some banger songs that remind me of Stranger of Sword City, I think both games are made by the same team? I found the grind in Demon Gaze awful tho, the whole "get gems to use in the circles then return to the inn to sell most of your loot because is useless to buy more gems and repeat from step 1" got mind numbing real quick. And the mechanic of paying a rent that increases everytime you come back from a dungeon only makes you spend even more time in the dungeon to get more things to sell because otherwise your profits start to get lower bit by bit made the experience more of a chore than anything.
    Anyways, great video! 🙌

The game in the bottom left is "Mon-Yu" also developed by experience inc - they also made demon gaze and stranger of sword city. I have a review of the game in case you want to give it a look. And yep Naoaki Jimbo is the one who makes as far as I know all the soundtracks for experience inc. So they have a similar vibe.
About knights in the nightmare, yeah it is a weird combination, but it is a lot of fun, at least if you like bullet hells, because you need to avoid the attacks with the stylus, and for extra points you need to be really close to the attacks.
But it also works as a double edge sword because if you are touched, you lose time to beat the enemies, or hp if you are about to execute an attack. So yeh... It is convoluted and full of me mechanics.
Thanks a bunch for the comment :D
