@@734ch3r yup, that is really common within the industry, perhaps a bit tiring If they reuse stuff a bit too much, but that should not demerit their work if the game is engaging. However yeah, there are some things that might need a slight improvement here and there, aside from that really solid game.

@@RPGStory oooh that might be nice. (I am usually really bad with news XD) But yeh, I a mean the last image pretty much says that there was going to be another. So no surprise why it was rerelease once again after so long.

@@RPGStory there is always a bit of time for everything. But that is a fierce fight XD. I mean with each passing years many good entries appear, so it is a bit hard to go back in some moments. But yep, I share the idea.

@@734ch3r yup, the DS/3DS had so many good games, probably is where I spent most of my time playing back then. And still enjoying several games there.

@@renegaderaven3777 I completely get you, this is a brutal game on many ways. In the second half I did not want to rush once again through all the nightmare so I took extra time to nail every/most enemies in each floor, but managing food became into a mes after a while XD And agree, it definitely needs some background music, most of the time I was playing with etrian odyssey music on the background, a bit low just to get past those silent areas, and let the combat themes shine.

@@compoundlift hey there. Currently at work. But if I remember well it was, pressing ZR + X then you press down almost at the same time. And it should go backwards. If you did not press it right what happens is that the character completely changes direction. Probably by pressing ZR + down and then X (if memory works well, haven't played MH in like a year hahaha)

@@734ch3r here sometimes is the same. I wanted to get armored core 6, but they did not send it to Mex, and shipping was expensive as heck so NEH. Aside from that "most" of them fortunately are available. And yeh, that unicorn overlord was surprising in many ways, little details IMO. Agree, ideally you want those editions with extra stuff XD

@@thenonexistingheroAgree, it is more about little issues here and there, but it is definitely an enjoyable game. I had fun playing it. To me a bad game is where is say "5". But this one, is far from that, just if you go really really picky with details.

@@gamingodyssey5633yeah don’t listen to the reviews. Play what you think is good and see for yourself. There’s been times where I enjoyed several games that “reviews were bad” for example forspoken which I enjoyed. I bought this game full price when it came out but haven’t really gotten around to it until now. These kinds of game I need the mental fortitude and time to play. I still have a bunch of games in my backlog because most times I don’t want to read a lot of dialog so I just throw on an fps when I do have time to play.

@@KP0719x I guess it depends, there is people who is quite consistent with their comments, and then you have the journalist that thrash on whatever that does not fit their "deal", those are the ones I stopped looking at, as they are more like a bad joke.

@@734ch3r I've never played MH stories, are they good? Sounds like your are fighting your back log with everything XD haven't olay scarlet nexus, but it is on the radar.

@@gamingodyssey5633 MH Stories is turn based with a rock-paper-scissors mechanics. If you own a Switch, go straight to the second one: better graphics and mechanics, and the story is not needed, like every other MH. Scarlet Nexus is basically Devil May Cry light with an anime aesthetic. Great game!

@@scottholliday6211 thank you so much for the comment. Yeah, I had that question while editing. And I wasn't sure if that was going to be quite intrusive, so I left every title in the description, but once I looked at the whole list it was a bit intimidating XD. In future releases like this one, I will find a way to add every title as their gameplay is shown.

@@xHeigoux they are good games. Combining old school ideas with modern approaches. And etrian odyssey brought back that "old mechanics" to make your own maps, but obviously refreshing the execution.

@@gravex same here, it was a really good story and creative gameplay. It surprised me when they released the 3ds version cus, barley anyone knew about the DS version. But I am glad they did it.

@@MBulldog1979 I would prefer a remake XD but yeh definitely agree, it was an unforgiving game, but it was a lot of fun too.

Operation Babel (continuation from operation abyss), from experience inc, it can be played in steam and Vita. Lasts for around 35 hrs if you go for the main objectives right away. There is a review of both games in the channel, in case you are interested.

@@lazydgsf7429 From my side, if I have time to play, definitely, an old school experience is always good. But if I am really busy, I don't get to enjoy them that much. But yep, down the line there is a challenging drpg I gotta finish hehe XD

@@MoeruOkamii as far as I know it is from IF. And CH is just the publisher. Pretty much as the other small companies that work with them. Some one else creates the game, and CH publish

@@V20052 That happens in abyss/babel. That is more like a wild guess, because of how some events happen in stranger of sword city. Once they jump into the "dream" and explore the other paths. And where I lost a bit the link there, was with undernauts, because the lil elf girl shares some anecdotes about the dragon of neutrality and Oz (Gazer), where that neutral god is another entity. Tbh is a bit confusing linking some points there. But abyss/Babel yeah, their reality is an illusion. That is explained in Babel, somewhere around 5-6 hrs into the game.

@@StoneCresent that's a good one!!! Yeh it deserves a solid port, it had a really good premise, but could be improved a lot.

@@gamingodyssey5633 I never got around to finishing it as I borrowed it from a friend at collage and I had to return it before we parted ways. Other than slightly higher resolution graphics, I can only think of the crew battle mini game as needing rework, but that needs to remain simple. I also see no reason to replace the space battle system as I found it to be a refreshing and so far unique take on commanding a fleet.
