@@Guy1nthecorner613yep but people are jumping to conclusions a lot with this game too though, calling this games gacha genshin gacha when it's more like star rail - which is an important, since this game gives much more pull income and has a much more lenient weapon gacha
The UI IS EXACTLY the same, even the farming of ressource is the same, i don't think that it is a Bad game but damn there is definitely some poor decision.
@@marielcarey4288 Ignore the fact that Star rail is pretty easy to progress through, and Astra lives off of power gating you, and artificially inflating how long it takes to do anything because it doesn't have enough content.
Most of the Genshit comparisons seem to come from people that had it as their first gacha, or just don't know much outside of Genshit, so seem to think Genshit was the originator of all things, when pretty near all of it basically copied other games, and such that came before it. -The UI was common in mobile games before Genshit. For instance, I remember when Noah's Heart came out, people claimed the UI was a copy of Genshit, when it was actually a copy of that dev's prior game, Dragon Raja, which was released before Genshit. -Annoying followers like Piamon were common for decades in Disney animated movies, or if you want a gaming example, Zelda: Oracles of Time. -The equipment system Genshit more, or less copied from other games, like Epic Seven. -The basic process of progression systems used for characters, and such have been common in mobile games since well before Genshit. -Companies on a whole just copy things from other companies, this applies to games, and anything else. Companies were trying all sorts of systems for their gacha, to find something what would make the most money, since Genshit made stupid amounts of money, many gacha games have just just adopted something similar. Plus various aspects were already common in other gacha games before Genshit. -Calling Genshit generous is funny, really. Just try telling most Genshit players that around any of its anniversaries. -Some anti-cheats install as a part of the game, some install as their own separate shared resource, so if multiple games all use the same one, it would only be installed once, instead of once per game. ACE is of the second type. -They increased the max stamina pool, and regeneration rate at least twice so far, so it's not bad now. ASTRA is okay, not amazing, just okay. I'll play it for as long as I'm still more, or less enjoying it, as I do like town hub instanced dungeon type games, but once I get tired of it, I'll quit.
I being playing more than 50 hours. Super addictive with free selector 5 star after playing one month. Its a masterpiece game. Buying stamina is only 25 gems. Very cheap compare most games. Coop is really fun with tank and healer role is important. Its not just dps. Need skill to dodge and it need strategy as well. Story is amazing.
It's not a selector after a month, it's a random 5 Star, unfortunately... I hope they at least give those out frequently. You do eventually get a selector after 200 or 300 pulls in the regular banner, though. (Not sure which it is... The text says 200, but the progression bar says xxx / 300 so... Either way, this could probably take anything between 6 months to a year for a f2p player.)
It is nice to see someone who is actually playing the game make a comment about it. It seems most people that actually play the game give it a positive review and the negative reviews are from people that just have an opinion with no actual play time.
This game is incredible, plays a lot like a paid game, exp and progress gets expensive sure, but feels organic and not bloated unlike a LOT of mobile games. Gameplay is better than many paid games, and the localisation has some rough moments but the story is really good though Also the art. My god, stunning.
When you wear your Vanillaware inspiration on your sleeve, your art design better be good. But relative to Dragons Crown, yeah... Astra is alright, it'd be better if it wasn't a time gated gacha more interested in getting players to log in daily. Which isn't organic.

No its worse than being a Genshin clone, (and progression wise it is VERY Genshin inspired) this is a level-time gating gacha that feels awful when you aren't at a proper power level. And since you have no control over progression, you can end up just hitting walls with seemingly no solutions because you can't just level up units at your leisure. Also, it's not really skill based, stamina is far too limited for genuine skill expression, and that's by design. Great for mobile gamers used to having their time be wasted, but for Steam? Yeah... no
