    Thank you for the lesson! Is it rude to say this to a person if they tell you something you already know? I’m always worried to say it! 😅

      If someone tells you something you already know.
      You can reply with:
      I know →しってる(casual) しってます(polite)
      I don’t know → しらない(casual) しりません(polite)
      If you say しる as in “I know/already know”, it sounds unnatural.
      しる is not colloquial so it sounds too formal when speaking.
