Poor Shady being so scared, but he doesn't seem violent or aggressive just reacting to escape what scares him. Great job being so patient and safe as best you could. Hopefully better luck next time for the vet visit.
She has definitely been mistreated. Whether she hasn’t or has been broke, it is so obvious someone has abuse this horse she is terrified just look in her eyes poor thing. Well, she is in the right place. Now she is going to find out what love is again through you guys. I’m so glad she’s there.
🙏
I did shed a tear just seeing how Shady was responding he obviously has had some sad times but I am so grateful he has you all !
What kind of person puts that fear into a poor horse!! Poor Shady!! It just breaks my heart to see him so terrified. Hopefully he will get to realize that there are kind people out there. ❤
Pauly is a godsend!
I just LOVE your ferrier Pauly!! He is such a loving, caring, man with the horses! Really takes his time to explain each horses care!❤❤ LOVE his babies tattoos on his arms!!
Wilbur has stolen my heart. He is so cute and so is the white horse he came in with.
😢Shady, abuse he must of endured, he's in a great place now with the patience you all show and care
Ratchet straps for shade sails - quick easy and super adjustable. And easy to take down if a storm is coming.
I'm continually amazed at your innovative methods to accomplish what you need to do to care for these horses, no matter their circumstances. Thanks for another great video. 💙
These poor terrified horses thanks for helping them everyone I'm glad they are safe now 🧡💜🧡
He’s not that scared - ears are up, he’s pretty relaxed.
I wish i didn't live a good time away! I would work with Shady and get him to trust people!!
Pauly Wendt you do a great job!!
Go paulie you do the best hooves 😎
Oh Shady, so sad to see him so scared of people! Rescue work is really, really hard - and dangerous, too. All of you are doing such a great job! Shady for sure has some way to go.
I can't Help but think about how zoo Keepers sedate or train their wild animals...
The new stock you have is really helping the old or hurt horses have somewhere to lean. Makes it safer for Pauly & Doc.
You could benefit from having someone who knows how to rope. This is so difficult and dangerous for you and Shady. Good work!
I hate to think about what might’ve happened to Shady. To be so scared and traumatized. I know that he will be a wonderful horse, because y’all do such wonderful work, and have such patience!❤ I didn’t catch that last mare’s name if you said it, and I sure hope her hoof isn’t separating! We will say some prayers for her.🙏🏻❤️ absolutely love the work you do. Stay safe and blessings!
Real life drama. Saving those precious beauties! Passing your channel site around and see if we can get more help for you. Keep up the great help!
Thank you!
Another great informative video!!! 🖒 Thank you for explaining things!!! 😊
I have learned a lot watching you guys!!! Blessings to you for what you do!!!! 🙏💕
Ya gotta know where ‘ta hit it! Fix that spreader with a well educated tap. Same for little Shady. Horses can really fight sedatives.
Another wonderful episode. The stock is awesome! I hope that last mare does okay.
Thanks for all you do for these Angel's
With all those hoof problems, you gotta be really careful with the delicious spring gras, as its mostly sugar and can cause flare ups for many horses..
We know. Thank you!! :)
Farm work is non-stop and absolute Heaven....
I noticed someone mentioned steve young from wales in the UK . He is very adapt at horsemanship and works wonders. He goes out to the States to help horses and owners - you could do worse than to reach out to him for hints and tips. He and his wife are lovely lovely ppl
❤❤❤
"Too many cooks spoil the soup" is an old cliché. Sometimes when y'all are nudging a reluctant horse, about 5 of u are all trying to cheer it on, but I just feel y'all are confusing an already confused horse even more. I still cheer y'all & ur organization on & have been watching since the very beginning. You should all feel proud of yourselves for coming such a long way on ur journey as saviors!!
Nate is such an asset!! He is running his own business & doing soo much for the organization!! Does he have any "single" brothers? 😅 (just kidding😅).
Blue is a great tractor, but i love big red.
I wish I could help with money Be I am in trouble my self One day I will help I love you ladies
Every share helps! Thank you!
🙏
awe bless ur hearts..god bless ur big ole hearts..
🙏💯
Got to love them and they are useful.😂 The right tool for the right job. Look after yourself Doc you are missed. Thank you for being a full circle of Life shelter and taking these surrenders. Do horses feel secure in a stock it looks good is it easy to maintain hooves in a stock less chance to be kicked can all horses use a stock or do they need training first. Great episode thank you.
A stock is useful for many reasons but the main reason is for the drafts. It is hard for them to hold their weight when standing on 3 legs so the stock holds them when they feel tired so they are able to rest while their feet get trimmed :)
My uncle and i replaced new tines on our 4 wheel new to us tedder all this morning!!!! Lol
We have one al.ost identical... i love that disc bine... we have newer ones but i like the older one.
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😮😮😮😊😊😊😊

I am surprised that you don't clean hoffs on a daily or at least weekly basis.. when you are groming your horses.
I have been a Horse owner for years.. and I was shown from a very early age, that the hoof care was as important as the rest...
We clean the horses feet we just don't always record it as typically the handlers butt is facing the camera lol!
Are you goung to make grass hay for the horses, out of the grass?. Or is the grass not for horses? 😊👍
What about that Palomino who couldn't stand? It stopped at part 2 and I can't find if she gets any work done on her or not..
She needs to be lifted so she doesn't have to stand, and then her legs can be worked on.. :(
She has moved onto greener pastures
@@PonyTalesRefuge Oh.. Sad to hear. She was beautiful, but yes, she had a really rough time being here. At least you gave her what you could. My condolences.
🙋♂💖🙋♂
You can benefit from a horse trainer named Steve Young. He has a UA-cam channel his methods are spot on and work well . He is kind and gentle but effective. Have you heard of him?
Question for Paul the farrier what breed of horse would he say has the best hooves for trail riding and less maintenance all in all.
"One that's done on a consistent schedule and has the proper diet and listen to your farrier like you would your vet" - from Pauly
@PonyTalesRefuge 💯🙌🥰😍
Try a horse lick, calm pony, calm you.
If I should ever acquire any extra $ I will be coming your direction….I mean a lot of $.
Thank you!
How’s mayflower doing
Mayflower has moved onto greener pastures.
@@PonyTalesRefuge may she rest in peace
maybe the casteration did it to him ? maybe it scared the shit out of him . I hate to think he was abused he looks healthy tho
I really think you should consider.. not to be talking.. all of you at once...
And nevors Horse or actually any other animal , would be more nervous.. because of all the people, and definitely the noise of people talking...
One or nax tow at the time..
Yes, it does get a bit annoying. A lot of work to get done in a short amount of time.
