    Poor Shady being so scared, but he doesn't seem violent or aggressive just reacting to escape what scares him. Great job being so patient and safe as best you could. Hopefully better luck next time for the vet visit.

    Ratchet straps for shade sails - quick easy and super adjustable. And easy to take down if a storm is coming.

    I hate to think about what might’ve happened to Shady. To be so scared and traumatized. I know that he will be a wonderful horse, because y’all do such wonderful work, and have such patience!❤ I didn’t catch that last mare’s name if you said it, and I sure hope her hoof isn’t separating! We will say some prayers for her.🙏🏻❤️ absolutely love the work you do. Stay safe and blessings!

    With all those hoof problems, you gotta be really careful with the delicious spring gras, as its mostly sugar and can cause flare ups for many horses..

    "Too many cooks spoil the soup" is an old cliché. Sometimes when y'all are nudging a reluctant horse, about 5 of u are all trying to cheer it on, but I just feel y'all are confusing an already confused horse even more. I still cheer y'all & ur organization on & have been watching since the very beginning. You should all feel proud of yourselves for coming such a long way on ur journey as saviors!!

    Got to love them and they are useful.😂 The right tool for the right job. Look after yourself Doc you are missed. Thank you for being a full circle of Life shelter and taking these surrenders. Do horses feel secure in a stock it looks good is it easy to maintain hooves in a stock less chance to be kicked can all horses use a stock or do they need training first. Great episode thank you.

      @PonyTalesRefuge  Рік тому +2

      A stock is useful for many reasons but the main reason is for the drafts. It is hard for them to hold their weight when standing on 3 legs so the stock holds them when they feel tired so they are able to rest while their feet get trimmed :)

    I am surprised that you don't clean hoffs on a daily or at least weekly basis.. when you are groming your horses.
    I have been a Horse owner for years.. and I was shown from a very early age, that the hoof care was as important as the rest...

    What about that Palomino who couldn't stand? It stopped at part 2 and I can't find if she gets any work done on her or not..
    She needs to be lifted so she doesn't have to stand, and then her legs can be worked on.. :(
