I loved this! What a great concept of a Jedi whose clarity of the future also blinded him. Loved the shot compositions, the emotion behind the acting and the choreography! Oh and the music was great too!

In a way he reminds me of some old school Star Wars fans. Adamant that no other Jedi survived the Purge other than Yoda and Kenobi. They are the last of the old Jedi Order and Luke is the first of the New Jedi Order.
Man Cal Kestis is my favourite character and some moments in this film i saw a perfect portrayal. great acting/great editing/great cinematography - well done!
The main guy playing Cal Kestis is awesome for sure but big props and respect to the guy playing the Zen character. He was really putting his heart in it and his monologue was actually interesting and captivating and I loved his motivation so kudos to that guy and this fan film over all honestly some absolutely amazing filmmaking in this. Loved the light saber choreography too. Cant wait for the sequel game and the sequel fan film.

Y’all are numbering in the LOW double digits (being generous here) at best! You can’t be doing that! Seriously though, in the new Star Wars canon the amount of Order 66 survivors is SUPER LOW compared to the old Legends/Expanded Universe and even then theirs numbers were maybe 100 initially and then SEVERELY plummeted to the single digits (at least for those who chose to remain true to the Jedi ways). Don’t tell me Zen murdered Coleman Kcaj, Tera Sinube, Zatt, and Katooni! Oh no! Btw, I think all of the Star Wars writers and content creators must’ve forgot about Coleman Kcaj, since his fate has never been confirmed in Canon or the EU, so good on you man for including him!

I thought it was kinda funny that the ship landed at the shore and then cal had to walk halfway across a continent it seemed just to get to zen. No doubt greez must’ve been in a petty argument with cal Lol

Ur the first comment mentioning this 😂 it was a visual style I wanted to add for the viewing experience. I wanted to create a filmic environment similar to what an Arriflex 35mm film camera could create without getting too pretentious with film grains and scratches.

They would have been an interesting team-up for sure. I think Zen would have ultimately been too brash for Baylen Skoll. If Baylen is the "Qui-Gonn" of the New Republic Era, Zen is likened to Count Duku.
lol, no Din was likely between 12 and 13 years old during the events of JFO. The name of the Mando in blue goes by the name "Dax Rinzler" as seen in the credits. Also based on the character's voice, Dax seems to be a completely different ethnicity than Chilean-American.
That be cool if cal meets or fight against starkiller or good or evil clone of starkiller or darth starkiller in a short film same goes for Luke or revan or nihlus
