I started my Presley collection as a 16 year old in Brooklyn 1977...would eventually have over 200 records reissues and original pressing including 45 rpm’s
Wonderful , I Love "TONIGHT's SO RIGHT (For Love)" the Best from that soundtrack , then "TONIGHT's ALL RIGHT (For Love) +++ POCKETFUL OF RAINBOWS +++ SHOPPIN' AROUND +++ DOIN' THE BEST THAT I CAN +++ WHAT's SHE REALLY LIKE +++ WOODEN HEART ++++++++++++++++

I fell in love with Juliet Prouse as a 8 year old when I saw the movie. I could stay and watch it twice in those double feature days. A brilliant soundtrack. Thanks as always.
David: It's always been surprising to me that she didn't have a bigger screen career. She was internationally famous and had the backing of Sinatra. But she didn't have much of a movie career and her only TV series didn't do well. She was also repeatedly dubbed for even though she could, obviously, sing based on a long night club career. I guess she'll always be best known as singing on the Las Vegas Hilton when a fatal fire broke out.
Love the way you turn the music up every now and again for a quick blast of Elvis and then turn the volume down again and carry on talking. It's a nice touch. Thank you for another fantastic video

But it is the best of that genre he was shoehorned into with the exception perhaps of blue Hawaii.. The soundtrack stands up against any other soundtrack of his career...and has a European flavour. Wonderful, my very first Elvis album bought, my joint best every album and movie shared with Blue Hawaii, happy memories for me and my first days of Elvis fandom! Brilliant thanks my friend! Cheers!
Brilliant vid Scotty . Love the movie and the FTD treatment of the recordings . So many great songs and his voice was so good in that time period. He imitates Dean Martin on one of the outtakes ; one of his singing heroes for sure . It's really was a great period in his career kinda of on the back of his army career . His army years are captivating and I have a request , please can you do an army years special , where he stayed during his service , the songs he liked to sing (private recordings ) anything you can dig up around those interesting years , Cilla , the ELVIS IS BACK return and the more mature Elvis etc . Just a few suggestions ...friend of mine said he stayed in private accomodation and I mentioned his granny I think it was who stayed there to cook for him , stuff like that is interesting ...just an idea Scott , you'd do a very interesting documentary on it for sure , Thanks and TCB bud ....
Awesome video mate! As far as I'm concerned , maybe your best to date. There is a good reason for that, G.I Blues has always been my favourite Elvis movie and really the soundtrack was my starting point with The King, given to me as it was, Christmas 1977. Great stories Scotty from a very busy 1960. Thank you. Glad you've returned to that time period but looking forward to MSG!! TCB Always.
Add millions of people out there Elvis or King that loves you like I do and we will never forget you you are and our heart and then my soul like I've been knowing you all these years and never laid eyes on you
Oh Scotty, I just love everything you do, you really do all your research very good. I really appreciate everything you do keep up all the hard and good work. Thank you.
Hi Scotty you are excellent. I have been a serious fan for almost 50 years and the info you share is in depth and very deep. Not the typical basic facts every one else shares.there is something on my heart that I want to share with you. I think you are a sensitive sincere person. The most important thing in life is our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Don't know where you are at spiritually but he promised us eternal life if we repent from of our sins and there's only one king Jesus Christ. So Elvis is my favorite entertainer but I try to keep it in proper perspective that he was human like you and I and he needed a savior too. The bible says all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. So we all need Jesus to be our Savior. Once again I think you and your brother are outstanding and I see that his music moves you just like it does me Ina spiritual type of way. God bless you both.let me know how you feel about this.Dennis kolb U.S.A. Laughlin Nevada.
Hey Dennis..yes I believe in the spiritual way of life..I’ve been bought up into that way of life and it sits so easy with me. I think in liking Elvis it goes hand in hand with that.. That’s why I have special reverence for his gospel recordings.. in essence I get totally what he is singing about but more importantly I feel it.. You can see I’m moved by the music..it resonates within my soul.. No better medium of song than Elvis Presley
Great information yet again. Love the Gi Blues album and film. Elvis vocals are top notch On all the tracks. Great song to finish on. Thanks again for all the hard work that you do, doing these videos appreciate it.
Well !!!!! I loved this on G I Blues, it’s my favourite movie and of course the album. The first time I heard “Wooden Heart” that was it, loved all the songs, and could not wait to see the movie. I also have Cafe Europa album, thanks Scotty, a great show !!!!
I very much enjoyed your GI Blues (part 1) presentation. I've always thought "Tonight is so right for love" to be a very underrated Elvis song. I think it's superb just listen to the very last note when he sings "Love". Enrico Caruso couldn't have sung it better. Talking of Caruso, I believe Elvis didn't hold the last note of "It's Now or Never" as he felt he could never sing the last note as well as old Enrico. Thanks for a most enjoyable video. Caruso sang it as O Solo Mio of course.
Hi Neill.. He certainly sang it incredibly I believe this along with Surrender really show of his vocal skills almost merging to semi operatic.. I’d have loved for him to have sung more in this style as I think he was such a versatile vocalist beyond compare Thankyou 😊😉⚡️
Another GREAT one, Scotty 👍. If you did this on full time basis - I would for sure watch it on my full time 😄😄😄. Thanks a lot for interesting info in a nice Episode ‼️. Keep on rockin’ 🕺

hello scotty just been on one of your old videos i love to buy that photo of graceland that was hanging up ore buy one like it . i know you said it was from a photo but it looks the part
Very cool video. G.I. Blues was my favorite movie. Awesome songs. Love to hear Elvis stories. You playing Elvis music in your videos is so cool. Keep up the great videos. Do you have the original speedway album ?
I always wondered why Elvis sounded miffed because of the lunch break on that outtake of Tonight's All Right for Love (on Elvis Aron Presley). Now it all makes sense. I never liked Big Boots until I listened to an episode of Desert Island Discs where one guy chose it as one of his ten records. I never played it to my son, though. Hot Dog was the one he liked. Great work as ever, Scott. Thanks for all the effort you put into your videos. Cheers.
Scotty you made me smile when you said you had the next video done! Awesome...can’t wait! The negativity...don’t worry...can’t please everyone...for sure! The GI Blues information was great. Learned a lot. Looked up my album...to see what color of circle I had....hahaha! Orange, I think it is a regular size, anyway must be 1969. I would buy them at a regular department store...down the street. Just picked up, what the store had.....hahaha! Not much of a real collector like you guys. Thanks again!
@@ScottysElvisPresleyMusicChanel This is my "If I Can Dream" letter to Elvis...Dear Elvis, can you "Just Pretend" that "I Was the One"because "I can't help falling in love with you" and i will be "Hurt" if you "Don't". I would be happy to spend "One Night" with you and would happily "Surrender" to you, so "Kiss me Quick"and "I'll Remember You" forever. All my favourite songs to him.
Great Video Sir. First time watching you and I'm a huge Elvis fan. As for the negative comments, please pay no attention to them. Some ppl are miserable and couldn't be happy if they tried. I subscribed and I'll be looking forward to more Elvis stories in the future. Thanks and have a great day!
I did it know why Elvis re record this songs in May,now i know Scotty!.Great job i always learn something new!A dog face it would have been a long title, jaja!.Thank you and TCB!
I'm thinking it was Private Parker's idea, in his capacity as "technical advisor", to have Elvis sing to babies and puppets, to widen his appeal. What a shame that instead of singing the classic Wooden Heart to Juliet Prowse, they had him sing it to a puppet.
Hi Scott, Great video as usual. I loved GI Blues as a kid, but I’m quite indifferent about it now. Big Boots aside, it’s a decent soundtrack. After watching The Searcher, my view of this film and to a degree Blue Hawaii has been somewhat tainted. Mainly because it made me realise that these two films set the tone for what was to come for the majority of the 60’s. Those two films were - as you know - box office hits, whereas Flaming Star and Wild in the Country were relative failures in comparison. I often wonder what might have happened had it have been the other way round, would his acting career have really taken off? Given the success of his first four films - King Creole in particular - we can but wonder. Take care and stay safe. Lee
Merci Scotty. See you later . Very good job. RIP ELVIS. FRANCE.
Scotty you have such great stories and sure get us all so jacked up as you show and tell us really cool Elvis history 🤝👍🏼⚡️🙌🏼Thank you so much always ! Your videos rock ❤️
He looked and sounded amazing when he came back from the service. I think all the time he spent practicing at home, in Germany, revived his enthusiasm and vocal chords. Thank you for all your hard work and info.
Hey Scotty, Great video as always. Awesome behind the scenes commentary, leaned a lot! I love G.I. Blues, have both CD & Film, his songs hadn't deteriorated yet as in other films and he sounded his best! I would love to hear Dogface, did they ever record it?? Cheers!
When I toured RCA Studio B in Memphis many years ago, the tour guide played it's now or never and asked us what was missing from this version of this familiar song. No one had a clue. So he told how although the song was finished, the producer couldn't get to sleep because he felt something else was still needed for it. Something was missing. Then, it finally occurred to him. He got on the phone and said "we need to get the crew down to the studio first thing this morning, and make sure there's somebody there who can bang two pieces of wood together!" so that's how that quintessential rhythm trak came to be.

@@ScottysElvisPresleyMusicChanel Good win for the Reds! ps: I can't wait for you to do Blue Hawaii please!
And I thought I was alone with my passion for Big Boots. That emotion and voice!! The only issue with the song is - it's too short!
Indeed Tommy..that’s why I’m glad there are plenty of out-takes
Great episode very enjoyable you did it again 😀💯
Thanks James
At last a proper Elvis channel, think I'm gonna like it here😊
I see what you did there😊
Welcome To My World .. won’t you come on in
Thanks Graham😊
@@ScottysElvisPresleyMusicChanel Thanks
Awesome video mate! As far as I'm concerned , maybe your best to date. There is a good reason for that, G.I Blues has always been my favourite Elvis movie and really the soundtrack was my starting point with The King, given to me as it was, Christmas 1977.
Great stories Scotty from a very busy 1960. Thank you. Glad you've returned to that time period but looking forward to MSG!! TCB Always.
Thankyou Roger..I’m at home in the 60s but there are a lot of 70s fans..
Hey I love it all😂😊
Add millions of people out there Elvis or King that loves you like I do and we will never forget you you are and our heart and then my soul like I've been knowing you all these years and never laid eyes on you
Oh Scotty, I just love everything you do, you really do all your research very good.
Remember what Elvis said there's only one King Jesus Christ.
Hey Scotty one more thing just like you I think Elvis had the greatest voice of all time amazing gift from God.
Brilliant! Enjoyed every minute! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thankyou Michael 😊
Very good scotty your getting better at this my friend best one so far for me keep the good work up

Thanks Woody😉😊
Well !!!!! I loved this on G I Blues, it’s my favourite movie and of course the album.
The first time I heard “Wooden Heart” that was it, loved all the songs, and could not
wait to see the movie.
Hi Neill..
He certainly sang it incredibly
I believe this along with Surrender really show of his vocal skills almost merging to semi operatic..
I’d have loved for him to have sung more in this style as I think he was such a versatile vocalist beyond compare
Thankyou 😊😉⚡️
I wish his version of Santa Lucia was longer as that's another great song that Caruso performed with extra verses.
Another interesting well put together video Scotty.Didja Ever is a song that is impossible not to sing along to when it comes on just so infectious
Elvis worked hard I don't believe everything in the books but its interesting love what you do
Like I say take from it what you feel is right..
Thankyou again😊
Another GREAT one, Scotty 👍.
If you did this on full time basis
- I would for sure watch it on my full time 😄😄😄.
Thanks a lot for interesting info in a nice Episode ‼️.

hello scotty just been on one of your old videos i love to buy that photo of graceland that was hanging up ore buy one like it . i know you said it was from a photo but it looks the part
Very cool video. G.I. Blues was my favorite movie. Awesome songs. Love to hear Elvis stories. You playing Elvis music in your videos is so cool. Keep up the great videos. Do you have the original speedway album ?
Yes sir I have most of the original albums..
Thankyou
I always wondered why Elvis sounded miffed because of the lunch break on that outtake of Tonight's All Right for Love (on Elvis Aron Presley). Now it all makes sense. I never liked Big Boots until I listened to an episode of Desert Island Discs where one guy chose it as one of his ten records. I never played it to my son, though. Hot Dog was the one he liked. Great work as ever, Scott. Thanks for all the effort you put into your videos. Cheers.
Thanks David..
I love Hot Dog also
In fact the Loving You soundtrack is very strong
Take care sir😊
Scotty you made me smile when you said you had the next video done! Awesome...can’t wait! The negativity...don’t worry...can’t please everyone...for sure! The GI Blues information was great. Learned a lot. Looked up my album...to see what color of circle I had....hahaha! Orange, I think it is a regular size, anyway must be 1969. I would buy them at a regular department store...down the street. Just picked up, what the store had.....hahaha! Not much of a real collector like you guys. Thanks again!
I’m hoping you really like the next episode Jean..
Thankyou as always😊
Great show keep up the good work TCB
Thanks Shug
Don't take any notice of the negs, you are doing great on here for us Elvis lovers.Wish i was one of his lovers!
Now Jill..rein it in girl😂😉
@@ScottysElvisPresleyMusicChanel A girl can dream Scotty, a girl can dream........
Now you should have used..” If I Can Dream”😊😂
Thanks, for You too.💙💙💙💙
I like the movie very much.
❤Da,moștenirea pe care ne-a lăsat-o este de mare preț!Mulțumesc!
Nice one Scotty👍 great album I think the other athletic lady mentioned in mafia book was the lovely Natalie Wood gave Elvis a workout 😀
😂😂😉
I did it know why Elvis re record this songs in May,now i know Scotty!.Great job i always learn something new!A dog face it would have been a long title, jaja!.Thank you and TCB!
Wouldn’t it 😂😂
I'm thinking it was Private Parker's idea, in his capacity as "technical advisor", to have Elvis sing to babies and puppets, to widen his appeal. What a shame that instead of singing the classic Wooden Heart to Juliet Prowse, they had him sing it to a puppet.
You are probably right Enrico.. without a doubt.
Private Parker😂
Lee
Cant beat vinyl, sounds loads better. 👍 T.C.B.⚡
First time I've seen your show. Should have more people like you keeping ELVIS alive. Love the Elvis specs where you get them from.?
Hey I got them on eBay a while ago..you can order directly from Graceland
Merci Scotty. See you later . Very good job. RIP ELVIS. FRANCE.
Scotty you have such great stories and sure get us all so jacked up as you show and tell us really cool Elvis history 🤝👍🏼⚡️🙌🏼Thank you so much always ! Your videos rock ❤️

Hi great video ! I only have one LP of GI Blues , a Swedish pressing orange label 1972 ? 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪

@@ScottysElvisPresleyMusicChanel Hehe ! I have 12 Golden Records, 11 Blue Hawaii ...............10 King Creole ...🥳🥳🥳
