Muhammad Ali refused to be silenced

Aug 14, 1967 - @muhammadAli was named the grand marshal of the Watts Summer Festival and led a 30-block parade through the heart of the site where riots occurred two years earlier.
As the parade chairman Billy Joe Tidwell put it, “Ali epitomized the new era in the history of the black man in America.”
“We can’t be brave without fear.”
