Ya you’re absolutely right, change of stress is how your body continues to change, it’s very resilient so it will adapt to even extremely stressful stimuli, however if you change the type of stress constantly, in a cyclical fashion, with intensity always being number one, you’ll continue to grow.
@@benliftin4awhile like the biggest natural of all times (rip) said, you gotta confuse the body right babe ?! Jokes aside, it's Always good to use all the tools we have and switch things from time to time

Yes but without such dramatic results. Consistency in the proper methods of training, nutrition, and rest will yield noticeable results. Most of us would never match Yates even WITH steroids.
Using the same old analogies that Mentzer used. Building muscle isn’t philosophy, it’s science, and much more complicated than that. Author Jones was a liar. Bottom line is that you need a periodized approach. Everything works (1 set, 3 sets, 10 sets, 5 reps, 20 reps) but nothing works forever. The best muscle building program is the one you’re not currently doing. Systematic programmed change, along with progressive overload is the key. That doesn’t mean just adding weight. Changing Sets, reps, rest period, frequency, splits etc. your body adapts, and you need to plan for that.
@@Strivingsoldier Dorian actually recommended less than that...6-8 weeks, and then a deload week, doing the same weights but skipping the last 2-3 reps and nothing near failure, and then go again.... I do HIT, 3-4 movements per bodypart, and don't see any issues. if you want to train more, train more. none of us are getting paid and none of us are becoming professional athletes.... so, logically, if the perfect number of sets is between 1-20, start with 1 and see how it works. but, intensity , with 1-3 total sets, is key.
