Everyone’s excited for these hunts. Lewis forgets his boots, Corey only packs in 3 bullets, and Donnie forgets his pack. I don’t feel bad about having to hike back to camp before light to get my release.
Corey called his son a dead weight anchor. Hey that reminds me - today I learned that if a canoe turns upside down in the water, you can safely wear it on your head - because it’s capsized.
Love to see Corey take these kids hunting! You can tell he has a great relationship with his children and to teach them and mentor them in the outdoors is such a special experience!
Doesn’t get better then a day like this!!! September day, rutting bulls, surrounded by elk, with your best friend and boy.. priceless!! Don’t need to even shoot you already have filled your success story...
So close, so frustrating, but so cool. Hunting is a great way to strengthen bonds with friends and family. Days in the field are never forgotten and reflected back on during your entire life. Parenting done right.
These guys have seen some really incredible demonstrations of the beauty that is nature. The fact that they share it with family, friends, and youngsters put these guys at the top of the mountain as far I am concerned.... keep it up all members of this series
Corey I’m glad your teaching your kids to enjoy the outdoors/hunting/tracking/bugling and knowing when to and not to shot or let that arrow sail to the targeted elk!!! To see their faces light up and look with joy even when it’s not possible to take that shot is amazing! Reminds me of my hunts with my dad!!! Sure do miss him!!! Awesome times!!!
What an incredible opportunity for the kids. True experience to get hooked for life. I know that's what is was for me to be around bugling bulls for the first time at 35 years old. Never a bad day in the elk woods.
Everybody needs a dad like Corey. With my dad it was fishing and I didn't start hunting till about 6 years ago. He passed away last like a lot of people did. I shot a bomber archery buck last year and went to pick up me euro mount yesterday. the first thing I wanted to do was send a text to my dad. I went from a high moment to low one and had to take minute. I enjoy watching the family episodes.
I love seeing you hunt with family! I have enjoyed elk hunting with my son the last 7 years! He's spoiled getting 4 elk of those years starting with his first year!!! Having elk in the freezer all year for years at a time is also fun!!!
Thank you guys for all the great information. Did my first elk hunt last year and would’ve been totally lost without Elk 101. We struggled north of steamboat with fires, smoke and thousands of trees blown down across the trails but still had a blast.
Donnie is the best. Uncle Donnie seems to always want to put those kids first - I love it. I loved this episode and it reminded me of my early archery days and close encounters. Love love love!
What a great experience for Sam! I can’t wait to get my kiddos out in a couple years to experience the sounds of rutting elk. Best sound and smell in the world!! I love it🏹
Cant ever pass up time of hunting with your kids. Awesome how you take all your kids out in the woods and they enjoy it. Also awesome to see Sam turn down a party for a elk hunt. May not been successful but getting that close and seeing them is a success all in its own.
Coreys son has had more bugle action in two days than I’ve had in 4 years. Unreal, that young man is learning a heck of a lot and will make a great elk hunter. Can’t wait to do that with my kids!!
Donnie is selfless however did forget the backpack with the extra food in it. What a boggling day, love those, wish 2020 had more days like that. Thanks Sam for sharing your dad with us and allowing us to come on your hunt.
A day in the hill with the boys. How awesome. Tons of action. Can’t wait to see what comes next. Thanks for the breakdown on the calls. Working my way at getting better calling, loving the champ so far. Look forward to playing with the new ones
So cool! What a great day! The bull was screaming in Sam’s face, what an experience!! Donnie is a great guy, and I think having a good hunting partner just might be the most important factor in successful hunting! You guys got something special with your hunting group! Great video!
Such an awesome experience and fantastic footage. You really can't ask for more excitement without sealing the deal than that. Great learning experience for both Sam and myself! Appreciate the strategy for success from Cory at the end.
Love watching the brothers get excited and give a fist bump when they hear the elk responding. they just know Dads going to call this bull in to our laps.
That boy has got it figured out early!! Rather go elk hunting than go to a football party! Love it. So close and man what a awesome encounter. I think it's going to happen tomorrow for sure! Good job guys
Pretty awesome getting to have experiences like this with your son. Some people will never get or understand the sensation of hearing a bull bugle so close
Everybody needs a hunting buddy like Donnie. He’s always putting others first. And bringing the jokes.
Best quote I've heard all year "I'd rather shoot an elk than go to a football party" LOL Love it
Having closes calls with family and friends are memories you will never forget. Great episode.
Everyone’s excited for these hunts. Lewis forgets his boots, Corey only packs in 3 bullets, and Donnie forgets his pack. I don’t feel bad about having to hike back to camp before light to get my release.
Wow! Lots of action!
I’m adhd. I’m always forgetting something
I forgot my release one morning too... made me grumpy all day.
I forgot mine too!
I'd love a day in the elk woods like that.
Corey called his son a dead weight anchor. Hey that reminds me - today I learned that if a canoe turns upside down in the water, you can safely wear it on your head - because it’s capsized.

That was an amazing day of elk hunting! I don’t want this series to end!
Donnie without his bag of snacks and candy, not sure how he survived the day. Thanks for keeping it real.
No candy how
Doesn’t get better then a day like this!!!
September day, rutting bulls, surrounded by elk, with your best friend and boy.. priceless!!
Don’t need to even shoot you already have filled your success story...
I’m sure Coach Leslie understands missing the football party. He values Faith, Family, Friends, and Football in that order.
Faith, Family, Friends, Elk hunting, and Football!
Corey is getting this all backwards. He needs to make his kids haul him around in the cart!
Awesome to be able to do that with your Son... Been there done that.
So close, so frustrating, but so cool. Hunting is a great way to strengthen bonds with friends and family. Days in the field are never forgotten and reflected back on during your entire life. Parenting done right.
Glad to see a teenager choose hunting with his dad over a party.
Donnie “forgot” his pack? Or he saw all the younger legs and backs around and decided his needed a break?
Dad and his son, even if you get nothing, you got everything. Time together is priceless.
Why did the scarecrow win an award? Because he was outstanding in his field.
Good one.My girlfriend is an avid gardner.I know she will like this one.
These guys have seen some really incredible demonstrations of the beauty that is nature. The fact that they share it with family, friends, and youngsters put these guys at the top of the mountain as far I am concerned.... keep it up all members of this series

What a great dad you are for taking them kids out and spending time with them. They will remember these days for the rest of there lives.
One of my favorite parts about the show is how much education you guys pack in to them. Great stuff!
It so fun to watch young hunters, they are looking to you for guidance and almost forget to get nervous.
Love that you’ll take your families with you! They will never forget that!!
Always love listening to bugling bulls. Great job getting the kids out and teaching them, carry on the tradition.

When Isaac and Sam look at each other with that “oh yeah it’s on!” Expression and fist bump...perfect! Another great episode!
That feeling of your bones rattling from a big bugle is the best high anyone could have. So exciting to watch
I love seeing you hunt with family! I have enjoyed elk hunting with my son the last 7 years! He's spoiled getting 4 elk of those years starting with his first year!!!

When there's bugles in the air there's hope.. but chuckles in your face? Awesome
When success is so close. It’s an unforgettable experience.
The perseverance is an inspiration - my lack of calling is a hindrance - that great of a caller “still” working that hard is dedication!
Loved it. Donnie, you are quite possibly the best brother from another mother ever!
It’s awesome to see the great father son bond that can be accomplished with hunting
Great memory for your son hunting with you and having these hunts on videos. Thanks for sharing with us, our family loves watching your hunts together
it is so awesome to see you guys carrying on the traditions with the youth. What amazing experience this must have been.
You guys are very informative for beginners and experienced elk hunters. I have hunted elk for over 50 years and am impressed. You guys got it all
Donnie is the best. Uncle Donnie seems to always want to put those kids first - I love it. I loved this episode and it reminded me of my early archery days and close encounters. Love love love!
Admiring Sam’s attitude. That is the real strategy for success!
It's great to watch you guys work so hard with the kids in tow. What great experiences you two are creating for them.
Love taking the kids hunting! It’s a nice feeling when they want to go! Makes you feel like you’re doing something right!!
I'm grateful for the mentors that let me tag along with them during archery elk hunts. Passing on tradition is important.
Yet again, Donnie humbly shows what a class act he is!
Great footage of the bugling bull up close and Corey's calling is just incredible.
What a great experience for Sam! I can’t wait to get my kiddos out in a couple years to experience the sounds of rutting elk. Best sound and smell in the world!! I love it🏹

Makes me get excited for my kids to get old enough to hold a tag! What a epic day! I couldn’t imagine experiencing that when I was a kid.
Coreys son has had more bugle action in two days than I’ve had in 4 years. Unreal, that young man is learning a heck of a lot and will make a great elk hunter. Can’t wait to do that with my kids!!
The patience of that kid... awesome!
Thee amount of elk knowledge is still mind blowing. I learn something new every video I watch
Found my heart pounding for Sam. I want my grandsons to have this experience.
Not just the actual kill. It's the time spent with male mentors having a manly experience.
Donnie is selfless however did forget the backpack with the extra food in it. What a boggling day, love those, wish 2020 had more days like that. Thanks Sam for sharing your dad with us and allowing us to come on your hunt.
so much adventure, comradery, and fun in the elk woods! Just great!
A day in the hill with the boys. How awesome. Tons of action. Can’t wait to see what comes next.
Thanks for the breakdown on the calls. Working my way at getting better calling, loving the champ so far. Look forward to playing with the new ones
This helps me get motivated for upcoming elk season. Corey and Donnie are 2 of the givingest people I know.
So cool! What a great day! The bull was screaming in Sam’s face, what an experience!! Donnie is a great guy, and I think having a good hunting partner just might be the most important factor in successful hunting! You guys got something special with your hunting group! Great video!
What a cool experience for Sam to be out hunting with his dad- that’s where the best memories are made!
That was really fun to watch!! Thank You.
Awesome close action! Those are the moments that keep us awake at night dreaming of the next hunt.
"I'm about to even the score...Get Ready"...cant get the opening song out of my mind. Look forward to it every night.
Love seeing young hunters having fun.
This is how Great memories are made. Can’t wait til my kids are old enough to hunt with me!

Love hunting with my son. He shot his first elk this year with his bow. Great seeing families hunting
Love watching the brothers get excited and give a fist bump when they hear the elk responding. they just know Dads going to call this bull in to our laps.
What a day! More memories made there than what any party can offer!
Great to see Corey getting the whole family involved.
Those days of close encounters are pretty epic. Great memories!
This is awesome. I'm in my thirties just getting into hunting. My favorite part is taking my twelve year old along and learning together.
Epic elk bugleing. That's awesome to hear the different bulls bugleing in so many ranges. Great job to all.
Three years late love the videos keep me coming back watching elk hunting I can’t wait for season
I'm rooting for ya, Sam!! What a day in the elk woods 👍
What a day. I wish all days in the elk woods were that much fun.
cant think of anything better than quality time in the woods with our children
That boy has got it figured out early!! Rather go elk hunting than go to a football party! Love it. So close and man what a awesome encounter. I think it's going to happen tomorrow for sure! Good job guys
Attaboy Sam! Making memories hunting outweighs a party any day. Great choice and a fun day in the outdoors.
I think he saw the light.. surrounded by bulls and adventure is better than a party.
Good to see our kids getting introduced to the amazing world of elk hunting.
Love seeing the kids get involved. Hope to one day pass the mountains on to my kids.
Pretty awesome getting to have experiences like this with your son. Some people will never get or understand the sensation of hearing a bull bugle so close
Those bulls roaring always gets me going.
Unbelievable footage! Up close and personal! Does not get any better.

Man I love watching a father/son hunt! Thanks guys!

Nice to see the next generation out hunting with a smile on his face.
Great to get those kids out in the woods! Great memories!
Exciting as usual! Nice to see families hunting together!
Jokes, snacks and selflessness are all packaged up into one great friend Donnie.
Thank you Cory and Donnie for just an incredible hunt!!!
