Yikes. I get your perspective James, what a pain to service, but I must say at the same time I admire the layout, protection, and organization its location provides.

Filled with 'stuff". You showed great restraint there. Proud of ya James.

I’m with you brother! Been a certified tech for over 35 year, always wanted to have an engineer work our job for a couple days!

There nothing to complain about here to be honest, I see great cable management, ease of diagnosis, and great build quality along with not compromising storage. Definitely not a rats nest and spaghetti party.

as a automotive mechanic for 5 decades, I have often wanted to slap engineers for where they place, bolt, add on to parts in vehicles.

actually it's really nice of them to protect all that from the moisture and weather and theives ya gotta good thing there lil cramped and awkward but good and hopefully propper maintenance has it lasting a long time rather than ignoring it to the point of not knowing it exists and pretending shore power goes directly into outlets 😅

As a tech. Are there any brands you feel are actually well thought out and have a quality build?
