You mentioned about flying a kit off of the riggers. How do you do that and still be able to get back to the kit clips if the kite line is going through the outrigger clip? On a similar subject can you explain how to make the wax floss stops on the kite line different thicknesses for the kite clips to work correctly instead of using the different size swivels. Thanks

You attach a metal ring to the outrigger that the kite clips can pass through. We can show you that in a future video as well as the wax line for kite clip stoppers

Great video as usual. Just wondering if you incorporate a teaser ring on your lines or how do you pull dredges from your outriggers. Hope you will continue with this series. Shrink wrap tip will be used. Thanks

Hi Frank. Yes, we utilize a teaser ring
On a short tether of heavy monofilament that attaches temporarily to the riggers with a snap swivel. The ring can be used to fish kites or dredges. We will incorporate in a future video

I have a three line outrigger and when I put it together the point of contact was further back than the outrigger base causing a triangle shape. It looks great but when I put it up for the day the long line is the only one that lays tight while the other two droop. is the only way to fix this to put the contact point near the base of the outrigger?

It sounds like you just need to shorten the lengths of the lines for your second and third sections. Are you using a triple halyard?

@@fishbluewater yes i have a triple. if i shortened those the halyard wouldn't reach the boat. i think i figured it out. basically you have to keep the two longest portions of the triangle similar lengths one of two ways. i had the outrigger at a 90 degree angle to the boat so either i could put the outrigger at 70 so that i could put the halyard near the back making two similar lengths or i can tie the halyard closer to the base of the outrigger and have to run to the front of the boat to get the lines. either way i need to do some adjusting. just had to dust off the old geometry to see where i messed up. thx for the reply
