Thank you for your interest, don't worry the second part will be but first I have to finish my new workshop because I don't have a garage anymore and I can't do it on my knees
I'm waiting! I recommend walnut or black and wight ebony for top I'm not fan of poplar burl(especially for top in tele) but it looks amazing sometimes.
Amazing the results one can get, with a bit of imagination and willpower, without loads of expensive tools, well done, respect :) So many of the other guys..... have all the gear...... but..... no idea.
To those that watched this and had the audacity to give a thumbs down, shame on you. This was very very well done and this video was inspiring Jozef. I'm thinking of building a thinline and came across this video and you gave me great ideas. Ignore the people that go around video to video and give a thumbs down...the world doesn't need them. Thank you for the video
I'm not a guitar player but I appreciate fine instruments and woodworking projects! At 3:16 I can't help but look at the grain pattern and think to myself that I would have joined the far left to the far right. It wouldn't have been "book matched" but it would have been sort of a book match.
Hi, I’ve just purchased a Squire Classic Vibe thinline Tele, so this answers a host of questions for me. I hope you will put up the rest of the build. Thanks for all your work filming and editing this. That is a huge job on its own.
How many guitars will you build each day, using your cnc? Can you go flying your PPL airplane, whilst your computer is building your guitars? How relaxed can one be? BEEP!
Really love your work..clean and high detil..and one more thing, you really know how to use your tools..excellent dude!! "Time that you enjoy waste, was not wasted"..this is how im describe what im feeling when watching your works..thxs man for share !!greeting from overseas, indonesia!!
I guess a workshop build takes a helluva lot longer than a guitar build... I feel cheated being left at a cliffhanger but I guess the quality of your build will be well worth the wait. P.S. I have a guitar build I'm currently doing on my knees but I've ordered a table vise I will add to a mini workbench that I will need first for the more precise work so I get why a workshop is necessary. Can't wait to see your progress.
Hey Joe, what about the next part of your Telecaster Thinline Build? Part 1 is great (Thumbs up!) and I am curious how it's going on.... Greetings from Germany. Michael
last time i tryed to plane a potential guitar nody with a router a got some heavy routing makes every i pass i gave the wood. I used fresh out of the box mid priced grooving cutter. Did you ever have a similar experience? Your surface looks rather good
@@joe_ocenas Cherry is beautiful. I wanted to let you know I'm building my first non-lapsteel guitar right now and I'm taking notes on some of the things you're doing, like drilling around the horn. Very smart.
Nice build! May I ask, what is the remaining thickness at the top and bottom of the tele after chambering? I mean the flat parts (where the pickups are and the other side)
Is it just me or is this going to become the world's thickest Tele? Also, it looks like the input jack won't be in the middle after you put the top on. Have you had really bad experiences with input jacks, so you felt you needed to engineer a solution? I'm not sure why you made a template template. The plastic one seemed thick enough to do the job.
@@joe_ocenas ok. If you had cut the shape close to the edge, you would have been left a block for something else. in this way I am making a flying V bass from 3 different wooden blocks. 8 pieces... you work very well i'll wait next video!

🤣🤣🤣. Good point. 🤔

Yess I built mine in 2017 😉 thank you very much jozef
YT recommended this video to me just today, now I'm the next to wait for part II.
Thank you for showing us your work process in such a detailed manner. Great tutorial!

Love your plywood template !

This is exactly how I would want my thinline Tele routed.

Wow how he worked all that details with perfection !!!
I’m speechless !!!
Bravo !
Really great stuff, I love watching(and learning) how other people make their guitars.
That was really cool. I didn't know the process for this but was fun to see your method. Thanks for sharing.

That was so cool! Been trying to decide on getting a cnc .but I like the way you did it .more hands on.thanks for video.

Awesome build, thanks for sharing it....!!!
Like the cherry hardwood piece you added for the main output jack area---is this reinforcing or scratch protection ?
браво!!!супер!!!!молодец!!!удачи тебе!!!

Subscribed and will wait patiently for part 2.
Thats a great video Joe, good luck with the new workshop - and look forward to seeing the next episode :0)
Part 1: Go to storage facility in Chernobyl (seriously, I CANNOT wait to see how great your build will be :) )
And with those tools?! Respect!
Great work, very clean.
Cheers from argentina
Maravilloso trabajo, me quedé intrigado para la segunda parte!

Damn thats a beautiful wood block 🤤
Hermoso!!! Tomare tu video como referencia, ahora que empezare a hacer la mia, agradecido!! Thanks!!!!
Very cool. So many questions, but will wait until the finished product. Any thoughts on when we may see part 2?
Very Cool, thanks for sharing!

great video i wanna see the second part
Joe, do you have a video of how you built that router sled? Thanks, Steve
Glad i never had to go through this. I just put my blank on the cnc and go do something else 😅
I appreciate the work man! Can you share the names of the equipment that you used to built up that babe
i need the second part
Wow amazing
COOL stuff
I’m excited for part 2. I’m sorry if you already answered but why did you use cherry for the jack surround?
thank you, that's just my design element
I like to work with cherry wood, so I incorporated it there

Do you have a part II? YOu got my attention!
Very nice routing
Really wanting part 2 😂
Excellent video, but I really would have welcomed some commentary, so that clueless people like me could understand better what you are doing. Thanks!
incredible.
How tall is the base body wood and top layer when seperated?
muy nice
DOV'è il resto del video?? Volevo vederla finita questa chitarra!!!
Nice build! May I ask, what is the remaining thickness at the top and bottom of the tele after chambering? I mean the flat parts (where the pickups are and the other side)
Thank you, after the adjustment it will be 7 mm, I hope to get to it once and finish it...

Hey is part 2 coming?
Good job, man. What about the second part? Thanks for share
The second part will be, but I have to finish my new workshop first, thanks
@@joe_ocenas ,
Wow can't wait to see that workshop 😁
Did you re-build the router sled after milling the body pieces? Looks like you changed the rails to rectangular metal. How did you fasten those down?
Aluminum profiles screwed on top, nothing more, nothing less
Ty si kapacita kamarát!
Butt joint ?? NO DOWLING ? The 2 pieces of the ash body --are glued together with a VERY POWERFUL WOOD GLUE ---if its a direct butt joint !
no to je hrozne vela roboty a specialnych náradí..pozri solo guitars a postavis za 6hodin ;). . kde je druha časť?.. spravíš mi jednu:)?...
Why do you use the cherry for the jack area? Thanks Reuel
just design element from cherry wood
We need the part 2!!!!
Aêee!!! part. II
Do you have printable template guitar's body file ?
Why cherry wood on the lower bout jack socket area?
I too am confused about this.
That swamp ash must be too heavy --hence you cut out a frame skeleton in Ash --to reduce WEIGHT ?----
i hope u are fine dude, no more vids?
So Whereis part 2 ?
Great
Good, but so many wood in desk's sides. It make Acustic sound low level. ;-)
Dónde estás cuando subirás más vidoes
W Polsce też są utalentowani ludzie;)
Ups. I was wrong. I thought you were from Poland but you my brother from Slovakia! You drill is definitely Polish drill.👍
would you like to upload the templates for the guitar?
Hello, I would like to know the end of this work.😅
Confused about the cherry wood part?
nice
Nice work but.. in that wood piece you have cut you could build 2 bodies. And 4 in all that wood piece.
It just seems to you, one piece had a width of 25 cm (9.84 ")
