You wouldn't believe how many times I questioned saying that! But I was told to say what I feel, and be me about it. I'm definitely not to thank for any of the amazing work Mondraker has done, but hope I get to be part of what we do in future!
Wuhuu Doddy! Welcome back to content creator land! Best of luck with your new eandeavour @ moiondraker! I remember meeting Cesar Rojo (sp?) waaay back when with one of the forst protos with a longer frontend, and for the first time ever I didn’t feel like a giant on a bike :) sadly the rest of the bike wasn't for me :/ so my favorite is that first proto because it opened my eyes that my old bike was way to small :D Great video! learned a few things even my nerd brain did not know about Moondraker’s DH bikes :) and you mde me feel old… used to ride with an ipod… :P
Ha ha, sorry that last comment about the iPod made me laugh. My boss and I were laughing about other tech and trends that were around when landmark bikes appeared, so that's why that stuff ended up in the script! Very cool that you got to meet Cesar back then - he's a lovely guy and is so tuned in to bike development. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Don't worry about it! That was the first day two brilliant Spanish creators that speak little English worked with some daft English guy, that barely speaks a word of Spanish. We're building something together here from scratch, and are having great fun doing it!
Love the content Just a heads up but the sound is off at several points in the video, Doddys volume goes up and down in several points, then he’s totally drown out by the background music increasing in volume when discussing the 22 Carbon
Great to see Doddy again. Pretty sure that Mondraker is going to get a serious sales bump this year. Not a fan of the videography though. The sound is also a bit dodgy.
I love Mondraker bikes and have one myself, but why does no one from Mondraker support ever respond via contact form or email? Personally, I have never had a question about my bike answered and I know a lot of people with the same experience. I actually don't know anyone who has ever received a response from Mondraker Support. Why is that?
It does indeed, but I may have been talking for so long that I needed to be cut down! I'll be checking out the race team bikes soon though, and am looking forward to seeing how different (or similar) the three bikes end up. Looking forward to it!
Good to see Doddy. Why is your cameraman drunk? Photography/camerawork pretty poor. The bike you were featuring was getting a bit lost amongst the bikes behind. Usual great knowledge and delivery from Doddy.
Not quite. When people were rebranding Intense they were literally buying Intense bikes and putting their decals on (nothing wrong with that). The Petrol - like many in this era - shares a lot of similarities but wasn't an Intense. The Intense front triangles used a monocoque style construction, as opposed to tubes and/or hydroformed tubes. The back end though, is very similar. Like many other bikes from this era like the Azonic Recoil . Whatever though, that style worked at the time!
Great to see Doddy, Hard to imagine a better person to speak on the history of anything to do with mountain biking.
“Our bikes” I bet that felt good to say Doddy! Well done legend!

Yay Doddy! Can we arrange a tripod for the camera man though please?! It's not an episode of the Office...
The master at work. Great to watch.
Mondraker is winning. Doddy is just the perfect bike nerd for the brand 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Doddy shows up? I subscribe. 👊💥🤙🔥
I have a Mondraker Level from 2001. It's like the first one on the video but the rear arm is in one piece. Love all models. Long life to this brand. ✨

Heya Doddy! The sound goes up in volume at some point. Otherwise, great stuff, keep it up!
2002, my first FS MTB, a Mondraker Curve SLS
Love it! Keep the content coming.
Doddy! Doddy! Doddy!
Subbing just for Doddy! 🤘
Buen fichaje habéis hecho los de Mondraker 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Yess Doddy 🤙
I totally agree that the 2021 Summum is definitely the best looking one
Love the content
Just a heads up but the sound is off at several points in the video, Doddys volume goes up and down in several points, then he’s totally drown out by the background music increasing in volume when discussing the 22 Carbon
10:00 Making carbon bikes is almost as hard as volume control......
Haha maybe mix master really loves the tunes
This definitely needed doing 👍
Doddy!

seen doddy ... had to watch
came here for Doddy
A doddy.....yay
Doesn't the new race bike also have an adjustable link in the seatstay bridge to tune the rear end flex? Or did I miss that part of the video? 😅
It does indeed, but I may have been talking for so long that I needed to be cut down! I'll be checking out the race team bikes soon though, and am looking forward to seeing how different (or similar) the three bikes end up. Looking forward to it!

Some ppl are just meant to be on camera. 👍🏾
Dodddddddddyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!
Isn't the first one a rebranded Intense like a lot of other companies were doing at the time?

Thanks for the reply Doddy@@DoddyMTBtech
Un vídeo así pero de XC existe?
did Doddy quit gmbn?
yeah hes at mondraker now
@@znon_ missed gmbnTech alot
AHHHHH FOUND HIM!!
Mondraker Summum ,this is a down hill life
Did not Shiver fork had 190mm travel?
the early models had 170 or 190mm. I think 2002 MY, so 2001 probably! The 190mm was far more common though
2022 good👍
Pls do the same with Mondraker AllMountain/Enduro Bikes and E-Enduro Bikes
Hi Doddy, can you please bring something about the lightest XC Bike/Frame in the World? The Podium RR SL
Yes, it's in the plans!
Missed my Evo2 :(
More Summum 🔥🔥🔥
Gwin
missing Petrol Evo model
Додди, рад видеть тебя здесь!
Com ha canviat tot en 4 dies. Són precioses.
Marzocchi Shiver had 190mm of travel not 170mm
the early models had 170mm or 190mm
the lighting/contrast in this video reminds me of those early bikes........................ a bit early 2000..........(ie rubbish)
thats the actual bike? Mondraker should just send it to Danny! that belongs on his wall
Did you watch the video? He said that it’s a replica. Danny has the real one on his wall 👍🏻
didnt get that! thank god!@@petedrew3911
why doesnt a company make a dh bike without the seat area its not like theyre sitting down when racing, remove all the shit that isnt nescesary.
Not a fan of the edit or music
screw mondraker
Doddy!!! Sweet! GMBM Tech i don't watch anymore with the chick on it.
Pretty bikes
