@@LastHumansGarage your laws must be different in america. In Australia, the only time your spot lights or LED bars can be on is when your high beams are on. Yes you have a switch to enable them but it needs to recieve a signal from the high beams before they turn on. In Australia you would not be able to test them like you did in the video (turn them on independently).
@@LastHumansGarage i agree you need a seperate switch to engage the spotlights but you should no be able to turn them on, unless you have your high beams on.
I'm thinking of doing same mounts and leaving my 22in where it is on the lower chin. I'll just add a separate switch. My lower bar currently has a yellow film on it for fog lights.
LastHumansGarage the battery was dead. I jumped it and everything works fine. I think I have to take it in to get the ECU re-flashed because all the dash lights are on.
I know I'm WAY late to the game, but the measured difference between a completely clean LED light vs one with a haze on it, are actually negligible. Headlights have issues because it changes the focus of them.
@@VictoryAviation dude, i used those same lights in the 2018 GTI after that.. AND in the 2018 S3 I have now.. SAME lights.. i only just changed them recently, when one burned out after like 6-7 years..
That sucks - geez I only get love from Shazzam about 20% of the time but yet some UA-cam robot can sniff out some background music by Cake - that's B.S.....
Stainless will rust when in contact with galvanized in salty environment.
can you do a parking lot light test to show how much they improve view, or maybe a driving video on vs off thanks for another good install video
at some point ill go in the trees and show it

Your Child very Charming. lots of love to your son, your VDO is really appreciable.
thanks, what is VDO? a gauge brand?
Dont you need to wire them inline with the high beams so they can only activate while high beams are on?
no, then it would fail inspection. you need a separate switch

That's awesome!
Haven't kept up since you got rid of the GTI. When did you move from the Bay?

Did this rise temps at all? Or you're old setup at all? I want to do this but track it and don't want the engine to be too hot

Kid sporting The Fett! You're doing it right! Great video!
oh ya i didnt even notice
Have you had any complaints from other drivers about the lights blinding them?
I tried this mod, but now I can’t get the car to start. I checked all the fuses and they seem to be fine. What am I missing?
Nothing in this job relates to engine starting. Even if bumper is off car Will start
