- Today we are mowing a new hay field, making different things from our cabbage and canning some green peas! Sometimes things go good, sometimes not so good, and sometimes we just make the best of what we've got. Hope yall enjoy it!
Pool Hall Slaw
Maw Maw Bailey’s Pool Hall Slaw out of Tishomingo, Mississippi
1 gallon cabbage (Grated or shredded - depending on the texture you
desire).
3 onions chopped
3 carrots(Grated or shredded)
1 Green Bell pepper chopped
3 Cups sugar
1 t Black pepper
1 t salt
3 cups yellow mustard
½ t red pepper
1 cup vinegar
Combine above ingredients.
Boil 20 minutes
Place in jars and water bath 10 minutes.
