Hi Jordan, loving these videos. May I ask please, how do you plan your week to balance lifting and throwing? If you are lifting 3 or 4 times a week do you throw on lifting days, if so, lifting first or throwing first? Do you prefer a rest from upper body lifting before a throws day? Thank you for your time.

Im a sophomore in Hs And our discus is 1.6 kg should i practice with a 2kg?
Depends. Most of the throwers in high school will benefit more from training with the 1.6k and getting the technique and timing down. Only the most advanced high school throwers have solid enough technique with the 1.6k that using a heavy disc would help. I didn't even train heavy much until the last few years because I was more concerned with my technique and timing with the 2k. You also don't want to mess with heavy stuff during the season its for the off season and stopping 1-2 months before competition to get the timing back with the competition weight
