Got this explanation from a comment in another channel's reaction to this song:
The end of the song is like three jokes in one. They are singing about stopping Winny, a Napster like program in Japan that people uploaded music for free. It is also some heavy grade trolling of bands who change their style and image to appease the record companies, hence the drastic change and the bad lip syncing at the end. At the very end, the singer starts ranting about Winny, but then the drummer (who is the guitar players sister) tells him that Winny isn't even around anymore, so why are they singing about it? Then she tells him he's scaring the kids, and she says to stop making "that face" because he looks like his mother when he does. They then flash a picture of his mom on the screen and as it fades away, he is yelling something like "why do you need to bring my mother into this?" This is brilliant, and once you get the ending, it makes them even more amazing!

Fun reaction, Chief! Apparently MTH was a big influence on BAND-MAID’s drummer, Akane Hirose, and I understand that she and MTH”s drummer Nao are friends. I don’t know if you noticed, but Nao was the bride during the last part of this song. Nao was one of the first great female Japanese drummers and probably inspired a lot of girls to start drumming.
Here’s a video of Akane doing an MTH drum cover:

"Everyone and their mum asked for MTH". My mum says she prefers Babymetal and Band-Maid, though she worries about your brain exploding when you see Babymetal performing live. Me, I reckon you'll be fine. Well, eventually. When your brain recovers. If you love Rock, there's Band-Maid and if you love Metal then there's Babymetal and their own superb Metal genre, Kawaii Metal. Japan is producing the music for the 21st century!

Yes. It is reminiscent of SoaD.
Band-Maid's drummer Akane for one, has been an open admirer of MTH's Nao (who was probably the female vocalist on this) and has named Nao as inspiring her to be the drummer she is.
This is typical of MTH in that nothing is typical. Regarding the bit at the last: In live concert, they yell and crack jokes with the audience a LOT and have a mad fun wild time. So the chatter at the end was a very small taste of that aspect.

See I told ya they would remind you of System of a Down. :D MtH is absolutely insane and their songs in general are wild. I'd love to see them in a show like the one at the start of this video. I bet it is INTENSE. I think you'd probably quite enjoy "Hunger Pride" from them next. The bass is nuts in it. The video does have several minutes of promotional stuff at the end that you can probably just skip.
If you're confused about what "Winny" is, it's basically the Japanese version of 'Napster', and was used heavily to pirate music back in the day. As for this song, apparently the story of the video and the song is about a band that starts out in the underground scene being true to themselves and their metal sound, and eventually 'selling out' to the record label and completely losing track of their roots. It's why they go from the grungy underground scene to some sound stage for what appears to be a kids' show, and the music completely changes. Also, during the conversation at the end between drummer and singer, she is yelling at him about how no one even uses "Winny" anymore, so yelling about it and making a song about it is a waste of time, and how all he's doing is scaring all the children because they don't know what he's even talking about. So in summary, the song's about a band who starts out in heavy metal, 'sells out' and goes more poppy, then starts an insane campaign against a file sharing software that only makes everyone hate them. Sound familiar?

Honestly, I need to remind myself that when you speak, I should listen immediately lol! Thank you so much, man. Your knowledge on these topics is going to be such an amazing help for me moving forward. I honestly appreciate you, bro. I'm literally going right now to watch it all again with this in mind. I fear you missed the big guy's head on the little girl's body at 8:08 but hopefully you saw it in editing. It's my favorite part.
I doubt they could have imagined that over a decade later, their band would blow up in the West, we'd all finally hear this song, and have no idea what Winny was. Not that many people even remember Napster anymore, but regional equivalents are even more forgotten. If you want to read a little of what you see in these videos without actually learning Japanese, there's a great shortcut called katakana that they use to write out foreign words that are usually English. There's only 46 symbols to it, and if you sound them out, you can usually figure out what English words it says.

Always enjoy your band-maid reactions. Maximum the hormone is another band I like a lot. Welcome aboard!
Now you've found this band, I'd like to recommend an American hardcore punk band called Bad Brains. They are active since late 70s, yet MTH somehow strongly reminds me of this African American band. They incorporated multiple genres in single song, creative, unique and with crazy good musicians, their sound was way ahead of time. You'll hear straight punk, reggae, funk, hardcore punk, rock, metal and more. If this description interests you, check out "I against I" and "soul craft". They are massively underrated perhaps partly because they were black, but influenced bands like rage against the machine, beastie boys, deftones, fishbone, and dave grohl from foo fighter.
For now please enjoy Japan's best hardcore punk band. 😄👍

MtH and System of a Down are often compared. Both have been going for about 23 years and it is hard to say whether they have influenced wash other. Akane says that she was influenced to specialise in rock drumming by NAO (who by the way is the older sister of lead guitarist and vocalist Ryo). Whinny was a music piracy site in Japan; the irony is that this is a parody part of the MV with wholesome images and the joke that Whinny was long dead when they produced the song. There are strong parallels between Japanese and British humour

Top tips: Don't take your eyes off a Japanese MV (unless you want to miss something) and always watch to the end (unless you want to miss something). Don't get too stuck in the narrow confines of 'metal' as there's plenty more to see from Japan. Konnichiwa to you too, my friend! Yeah I'm beginning to notice that there's a lot of things coming out in these songs that are far from what my ear/brain usually expects from western metal/rock, some of the direction changes, the way they mix everything together in a very unique way.. it all makes for some incredible listening. I'm having such a great time!
Have a wonderful night, my friend! Thank you so much :)
