KOI NO AMERICA means something like “America of Love,” or “Amorous America.” The world is still waiting to learn the lyrics to this song; I think it’s a love letter to America, but the lyrics might just be gibberish. The tike seems to be a riff of the title of another MTH song, “KOI NO SUPERMA” (look that one up-it’s a double entendres). MTH are from HACHIOJI, TOKYO. Drummer NAO-CHYAN (“nah-oh”) founded the band many years ago. She was an inspiration for MURATA TAMU of NEMOPHILA, among others. Guitarist MAXIMUM THE RYO-KUN (“r’yo,” not “ree-oh”) is NAO’s little brother. Fans outside of Japan seem to know them primarily for an anime (Death Note) ending song, ZETSUBO BILLY (NEMOPHILA did a great cover during lock down). They have many albums and songs, but just a handful of videos, so check them all out
Love Maximum the Hormone! Yeah they pretty much have tracks that provide contrast of extremes and will always throw you for a loop. My personal favorite track is HUNGRY PRIDE. It has one of the heaviest driving riffs you will ever find and is possible their most coherent tracks. I highly recommend it and would look forward if you react to it.
definitely Pantera inspired in parts. This song allowed them to pay homage but also poke fun at many different American rock related genres. The guitarist/ clean singer Ryokun has literally worn a Pantera shirt in a video before and now he's playing a Dimebag guitar
Cheers Tim thank you, MTH certainly take us on a journey a little bit like one of my younger man days inspirations Frank Zappa and like Frank MTH don't know the word compromise. I'm pretty sure that's Nao the drummer singing . Like Akane in B-M Tamu Murata of Nemophila was very inspired by Nao, if you type in Tamu meets Nao (or something similar) there should be links to some great footage of Tamu meeting Nao. What a legacy to have in just Akane and Tamu alone 🤯 All good here in Oz, I'm about to have an afternoon of J Rock and cold beer 😄👍🇯🇵🎼🍻🍻
The song is a satire on the US. And is not meant to be mean spirited in any regard. It's just that looking from the inside out our country looks pretty damn chaotic. In interview Kanami told the interviewer Carlos Santana was the player that inspired her to pick up the guitar. In the same interview Akane said it was Nao who made her decide to put down the trumpet and play drums. She liked the fact that a lady could pound the skins just as hard as any man. Nao was and is a role model. MTH is a very hard screaming band. And, obviously, all great musicians.

Nao the drummer was indeed the singer of the knight rider part of the video.

I agree. IMHO Koi no America is not the best song to start with.
I put on the list. Thanks

Last part (android singing) was the song that was playing in Japan when the USA drop the bomb on Hiroshima...
Now look at the releasing date of this song. August 6th 2023.
