Yeah, that's it in a nutshell. After the big pieces "now I gotta get the pedals" The real deal. Good luck in all you do!
i do not miss those days at all....i use a roland vk-8 .....works great ! you are very productive and highly motivated sir !
Thank you! Today available Hammond-clones sound pretty good but nothing can replace the old electro-magnetic originals 100%. After more than 40 years on the road with Hammond fullsize consoles (B3, C3) it was time to get this very comfortable transportation system in 2019 at age 61.
A nice one-man operation ! (#95159)B3
Is the organ just sitting on that rolling platform, or is is bolted to it?
I noticed another platform that you unloaded, is that for the pedals and bench, raising them up to the level of the organ on wheels?
It is bolted to the rolling platform. Check our newest loading and unloading video to watch how it works. ua-cam.com/video/SOM2ds8ZAXo/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Prof.T.C.Pfeiler I am on the road with fullsize Hammonds since 1977 and hate to lift organs from dollies but also dislike Roll-Or-Kari. This is the most elegant and practical solution for moving a B3 and Leslie I've ever seen. If I might ask: How much was the van including the lift?
Go to RICON and Chevrolet homepages of your home country and add some hundered bucks for assembeling....
@@prof.t.c.pfeiler1280 Thanks a lot :-)! By the way: That '57 B3 is a real beauty! I really enjoy those early B3s as well as C2/B2s because many of those have an amazing sounding Scanner Chorus.
@@hammondvoodoo9555 I also prefer early models because of their amazing sounding vibrato and "wooden" percussion "plop" (1955 - to ca. 1958 B3/C3)
But how do you get the organ console off of the rolling case bottom? Must need two people, right?
The organ is screwed tight on the dolly. On stage (with bass pedals and bench) it looks like this: facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10224524172185733&set=pob.1050893554 If there are steps to reach the bandstand the concert organizer must provide four roadies.
