It’s amazing sounding. I used solid black walnut And it is big. Might be too big for the room. I will wait a while and enjoy it before I build another. I like the MKII and your dog such a good buddy to have.
Good luck and enjoy my man...I can no longer build my own cabinet now. I developed a lower back injury so in case I decide to have another go, I will get the cabinet made for me...better be safe than sorry :P

to my ear, it is cleaner whe hermes is inline especially if my source is via USB/PC, thanks

Do you ever use a cd player into Hermes? If do, does it make a difference? I also have a Pontus 2 and play mostly cds.
