I really like the translucent plastic, but sorta kinda wish there was more blue in the scale cracks and not just the dorsal plates.
Put a flashlight in the figure so you can see the blue parts that come through the cracks
I highly recommend putting string lights inside. I did for mine and the blue really shines through the cracks in the stomach and gills. This figure’s true potential shines with string lights. You don’t even need to drill holes just use a blow dryer to help pop open the figure and fill them inside the gaps and bam, you have yourself a energizes Godzilla

@@apstorm17 I can’t remember the exact brand name but I used some cheap ones from Amazon. I used the 6ft ones so I have three string lights in total, one for the inside of the body, one for the tail, and one for the neck/atomic breath. But you can really just use a long 32ft and careful place it inside all the parts.
Also blue or white string lights are good. Blue for that 2019 look and white for the GvK color.

I love the sculpture it's great but the the thing is it's plastic but everything is good like the texture it's great I love it

The 2019/2021 Monsterverse Godzilla is my favorite design and I am happy with the normal Heat Ray GvK Godzilla

Both versions are different enough to add both to the collection and both are very, very nice figures.

Hey I have a question it’s about my goku black figure. His hand joint is to lose and it stress me out just to put another hand.
I'm still waiting for Hiya to do the Exquisite Basic ver. of their Stylist figure. It should've been semi-translscent throughout the body. Kind like what S.H.Monsterarts and Neca had done in the past. I still prefer the painted ver. than this one. But it is much better than I thought. Now I kinda see this as either the KoTM atomic breath (not having as much of blue glow in the body as GvK) or the intimidation display Goji (also KoTM, I guess). The original seems to be less glowy, so you can assume the energy already got released. Unlike the one that is still charged. I used the heat ray piece from this guy for the original one as, Imo, it's more suitable for it. Though it is regretful that it's less sturdy, in comparison to the original. I own both and I kinda able to bend ever-so-slightly the new one, while the original is solid. It kinda worries me that it might droop down over time.
I really wish for these repaints and variants that they’d at least give him different claw poses too. Also did you custom paint your original version?

The beam angle is a deal breaker for me but the standard is great

Honestly the original looks more the like the king of the monsters and the new on looks like gvk but I do like the new one even though I like king of the monsters design more

The one I bought was a very very light grey... it was literally horrible to look at next to other figures. Honestly I don't recommend this one
Sounds like you got a defect, my is really good to look at and looks even better when you put string lights
